A virus begins to spread throughout Europe, devastating the human population. Mages remain unaffected due to being unable to catch Earth-originated illnesses.
The turn of the century and the start of a new country, Granmont. Its territory occupies around a third to a fourth of France. The human population still recovering from the pandemic, so not much could be done.
Unrest reached its peak in the British colonies in North America. A revolution was in the midst, not only between humans but mages as well. The mage population saw both sides as unfit and backward in nature. They figured they could use the chaos of the war as a way to claim the lands themselves.
The attempted mage revolution was a failure, the humans caught on and decided to make the mages enemies as well. It was a losing battle. Those who could fled and the others who stayed began to hide, isolating themselves until the war ended. The next destination for the mages was Eastwynne.
A university with its goal being to create the brightest and best mages in the commonwealth, opens its doors to new students.
The ripples of an assassination led to a human war on a global scale. Although, it didn't technically involve them, some mages also joined in the war effort. Europe was their home and hoped for a swift end to the bloodshed.
The world is brought into another war, this one of even greater proportions. Mages were involved more than ever, helping and assisting the civilians and troops, but by the end, the animosity towards their human peers was unlike before.
After World War II, the tension between mages and humans was at an all-time high. Mages no longer wanting to associate with them left from the mainland of Europe back to New Creighton. The cities of Lor, Rosenberg, Saint Lanester, and Velengard experienced massive population drops.
