Hollowed Blade Society

The Hollowed Blade Society, or HBS for short, is an organization of chaos arcana casters that twist the lines of reality and chaos. It is lead by Headmaster Killian Vexx, a descendant of founder Ulrich Maganti.   Part of their system is worshiping Rhojun, the Chaotic while creating unbalance in the universe. They see sowing anarchy as the way to corrupting the government. Spreading lies by destroying documents, records, etc. Controlling death and creating unbalance in the universe was another step in their plan. They even steal credits from funding when it's needed most and crash events that are important for the government to obtain funding.

A Brief History

Chaos arcana is said to destroy so much around it that its unstable nature is tethered to destruction. The casters of chaos arcana didn't agree with this sentiment and planned to fight back. In secret, they created a guild of chaos casters in 2428 EoND that practiced the arcana in secret, but they also accepted those who use dark arcana. Over time, the casters became corrupt, where jealousy ensued that elemental casters and light casters were accepted and allowed to move freely. The rich are known to have been the cause of chaos casters' struggles by forcing them into hiding. As a result, the chaos casters plot to tear down the rich and powerful.   In 2492 EoND, the chaos casters have started going by Chaos Warlocks and wore a badge with a bleeding eye insignia. They began to enact their downfall of the Sentinel Circle by resurrecting the dead and using death as a means of scaring locals into submission. Using the undead to their advantage, they twisted the truth of the military and made them appear as if the Circles were using forbidden arcana to start wars with other nations. This lasted for a couple of centuries with witches and other warlocks accusing the Circles of deliberately killing innocents in the desire to gain power.   The HBS stepped into the shadows to continue their trade in secret. Those familiar with the Chaos Warlocks became interested in what happened to them, inadvertently causing the HBS to become infamous with their chosen path. Centuries passed when the society learned of the Chaosnomicon and the last holder, Syus Nightingale, of the book. Deciding to track to the book became their only priority and stalking Syus for any information were prominent goals at the time. However, Syus had long since given up the Chaosnomicon in favor of living a peaceful life.

A Divine Path

In the year 3090 EoND, Headmaster Killian Vexx took over and continued the search for the Chaosnomicon, eventually learning of Gwydion Egyn, who ruled over the Spire of Eahagan. As he sent guards to check in on Gwydion, he learned that strange arcana leaked from the top of the spire. Killian chose to let his followers know that the energy may be connected to the Chaosnomicon. These rumors began right as strange phenomena in the Renaize Domain started up.   The signals were noticeable across the entire society. Killian chose to have the Chaos Warlocks track all chaos arcana casters across the globe, especially those close the Renaize Domain. The longer they researched the surges, they quicker they were at ruling out various casters, who they got to join their ranks. Shortly after, the surges changed location, appearing in the Storm Territory near the Thundering Howl Grove.   Investigating the surges brought Killian and Gwydion to the Storm Pack, where they met with Alpha Rokomo Williams and discussed the strange phenomena. Alpha Rokomo lead them to meet Riley Warrick, a young warlock learning to control his arcana. Killian offered Gwydion to train Riley as a way to interest him into joining the society. Riley, at first, wasn't interested, but eventually joined to help understand his arcana after he lost control and hurt his husband. Dr. Warrick.

The Ember Rebellion

Within a month of joining the HBS, Riley found himself escaping the Storm Pack alongside his friends and allies, where they founded the Ember Rebellion and started fighting back against the Fang Pack. The HBS needed Riley and decided to join him as they desperately wanted the Chaosnomicon for themselves so that they could finally change the way the Circles work.   The HBS started out corrupted, working only for themselves, but Riley's influence with the Ember Rebellion changed their stance. Slowly, they started helping the lower classes and allying themselves with kingdoms and packs outside the Circles. While they still act on their corrupt impulses, they can refrain from it. Headmaster Killian sees to it that keeping Riley happy with the HBS, they have a better chance to use the Chaosnomicon to their advantage once Riley gains access to it.
