Thundering Howl Grove

The Thundering Howl Grove is a large forest located in the Storm Territory and wraps around the Storm Pack as a form of protection. It has taken its name from the thunderous echoes of the Esnear Canyon as wind trails through the mountainous peaks.
"The grove is a place where we can live off the land and protect those we care about. Nature is happiness. The Pack is happiness. With Ignatius taking control of the pack, we have to protect our homeland."
— Adged about his home

Terrain

The large forest is full of temperate trees -- currently during the season of auburnspell -- and coniferous evergreen trees, and spreads from north to south in the shape of a wolf's canine. Esnear Canyon is a mountain pass that runs through the forest and helps to create the unique name of the forest, while the Iris Channel travels through the mountain pass and down to the Storm Pack.   Rolling hills and flat plains act as the forest floor, covered in a mess of vines, shrubs, and trees. The trees stretch out and wrap around the city, creating a natural barrier of defense. Fields for farms cover the open area and provide crops for the capital and the cities and towns in the territory.

Climate

The Thundering Howl Grove has very hot and humid glimmercrests with raging cyclones and wildfires. The second a wildfire starts, the pack rushes to protect their homeland and to keep each other safe. Homes are rebuilt during this time and any damage done to the forest is cleared so new life can start over.   Chilly icegrasps can easily overrun the pack and forest. Winds pick up, quickly causing temperatures to drop and become miserable for those living there. Most of the pack is ill-equipped to handle such conditions as their icegrasps are usually cool, but lately, snow has been falling and a few snowstorms have appeared in the past couple of seasons.
