Ewuxians

The Ewuxians, also called the Ewuxi (etymology: from modern Artarian"Ewux" = foreigners), were a tripedal species of horse-sized molluscs that live in large groups and tended to dig their settlements in vast trench systems that often lie near water and cover such as rocks and foliage, which they used to cover their otherwise open trench streets. They were by far the most well-spread of the Polymedians, with them being found all across the world.

Intelligence and Sapience

It seems that the Ewuxians, considering their nature to group together and construct complex structures, possessed an amount of intelligence similar to humans. Though lacking a single centralised brain, their vast nervous system would be concentrated most around the stem of the legs. To keep things brief, it can be surmised that the Ewuxians were quite adept when it comes to logical processes, being able to keep concentration on multiple tasks simultaneously effortlessly. Additionally, they appeared to have a complex emotional and social intelligence, with the evolutionary resemblance to humanity as herd-moving omnivores forming several notable similarities, with individual Ewuxians tending to, just like humans, belong to a multi-layered network of distinct social groups; from families and peer groups to corporations and political states. As such, social interactions between Ewuxians have established a wide variety of values, social norms, languages, and traditions, each of which bolsters their society.
