Discovery, ExplorationA party of adventurers known as The Sausage Party discovers the missing details describing the conflict of the Kylorian Confederacy against Malberon, as well the existence and locations of 4 stones of power, which can be reforged into the 4 legendary Silverbeard Relics which were used to turn the tide of battle in this ancient conflict. The Varconian Empire, anticipating a possible future conflict with Malberon, requests for the Sausage Party to recover the 4 stones of power.

The Sausage Party Defeats Calderax Serechor
Life, Achievement/ WinThe party was lured into a cultist hideout by a powerful warlock of the arch-devil Mephistopheles, named Calderax Serechor. The party learned that Mephistopheles also coveted the 4 stones of power in order to use their abjurative properties against demons in the blood war between the 9 hells and the abyss. When the party refused to give their newly acquired silverbeard relic to Calderax, he attempted to take it by force. The Sausage party emerged victorious in the battle, leaving Calderax unconscious and dying on the floor of his cult lair.

The Heartstone is Recovered
Discovery, ExplorationAfter an arduous journey through the harsh and frigid alpines along the Spine of Varconia, the Sausage party reached the temple housing the first of the four stones of power. After a couple challenges, the party was faced with a Sphinx's trial: to determine the Sphinx's name (while also staying alive through the Sphinx's deadly attacks). Through a clever wording of a suggestion spell, and an impossibly strong display of charisma, Gerome Gerald managed to overcome the Sphinxes immunity to charm, convincing it to divulge the answer to its riddle: Psairokas. Gerome immediately celebrated with a flourish, But the sphinx did not take kindly to his hubris and decietful methods, and dealt him a mutilating blow, the details of which are too gruesome to recount at this time. After accepting defeat, the Sphinx bestowed the heartstone upon the party, and shared a vision of the future depicting a ruined Varconia should Malberon not be defeated. He also disclosed the location of another powerful artifact, a moonblade, once wielded by the elven warlock Ivelios Mooncairn.

Oleville is Attacked by Hobgoblins
Military: SkirmishOn the second night of the Harvest close festival, Oleville was unexpectedly attacked by an organized battalion of Hobgoblins. Their defenses were quickly overwhelmed, but the Sausage Party intervened and changed the tide of battle, preventing further destruction of the city. During the conflict, the party met up with Varzim Yarjerit, a dragonborn paladin of Bahamut who briefly accompanied the party on their travels.

The Ashkeeper Garrison is Taken by Malberon
Military: WarThe forces of Malberon suddenly overtake the Ashkeeper Garrison with an overwhelming army of undead, and a devestating tactic using purple worms to burrow beneath fortifications. It is later discovered by the Sausage Party that the Hobgoblins which attacked Oleville one day prior are also affiliated with Malberon. These events mark an official declaration of war between Malberon and Varconia.

Sausage Party Investigates Origin of Hobgoblin Attack
ExpeditionAt the request of Baron Brightwater of Oleville, the Sausage Party is asked to investigate the unusal circumstances of the sudden Hobgoblin incursion within the boundaries of the Empire. They travel through the Plains of Exitium, tracking the movements of the hobgoblin battalion, before discovering the Hobgoblins have fortified themselves in an ancient dwarven citadel. They discover a number of important details, evidenced by letters between individuals: Commander Keldak, General Krieg, and Cyrus (Letters between General Krieg and Commander Keldak).

Life, Achievement/ WinIn doing so, they recover the gem containing Morian's soul, and bring him back to life. After slaying a chromatic dragon, Varzim returns to his order of Bahamut in the platinum sanctuary to report of his deeds, leaving the party as Morian returns to accompany them.

The Sausage Party discovers the plot of Explicitica Defilus
Discovery, ExplorationThe party finds many of the denizens in the town of Barrelben have been mind controlled, and are behaving as a hive mind. They forcefully infiltrate the defiled and compromised temple of Melora - The Wildmother (although not without first trying a diplomatic method). In doing so, they find a young girl named Ciri who explains to them that a Yuan-Ti society has gained posession of a powerful artifact and is using it to dominate the denizens of the empire such that it can launch a full scale invasion. She explains how the party can find the Yuan-Ti society of Sy'raxyl, and of a secret underground pass they can use to infiltrate directly into the lower chambers of their palace, where they can find the tyrannical Yuan-Ti leader helming this plot, Explicitca Defilus.

ExpeditionWhile traversing the swamp, overcoming encounters with Night Hags, Crocodiles, Yuan-Ti, Orc cultists and further dangers, the party finally arrives at their destination of Sy'raxyl.

The Mind Stone is Recovered
After travelling through the swamps of Malus, the Sausage Party arrives at the Yuan-Ti city of Sy'raxyl, navigating through an underwater passage into the dungeon of Explicitica Defilus. After navigating through the dungeon, the Sausage Party discovers that Explicitica Defilus has fused the Mind Stone (one of the 4 stones of power) into her head, and has been using it in order to maintain control of her hivemind in Barrelben. After a challenging fight, the party defeats Explicitica Defilus and retrieves the Mind Stone. The second of the 4 stones of power.
