Sir Farquad of the Greystone Sanctuary
There is a surprising amount of power packed into the small gnomish package of Sir Farquad. He first joined the party under a different name: Daddy Farqueef. He is a paladin of Lunitari - The Veiled Maiden, who seeks to restore balance to all things, especially concerning magic. He is a truly neutral force and will always fight for balance, on whichever side that may be. So far on his travels he has mostly encountered overpowering evil and fought for the good of the Varconian Empire. After gaining more experience and insight, he trained with the paladins of the Greystone Sanctuary and was knighted under a new name: Sir Farquaad. He has gained mastery over his ability to channel divine energy into protecting his allies and smiting his foes. He is competent with both a rapier and a bow, favoring speed and nimbleness as opposed to strength, but favors the rapier so he can wield the legendary Silverbeard relic known as the Shield of Abjuration.
Sir Farquad abides by an Oath of Vengeance. He will always take the fight to the greatest force and holds no mercy for his sworn enemies. He has no hesitation to use extermination as a means to maintain the natural order, balance and neutrality of the world.
After his adventures with The Sausage Party, Sir Farquaad returned to the Greystone Sanctuary to assume the position of Head Head-Master, Master of Head. Here, he trained several generations of paladin-gnomes. Most notably, he trained Garf Eeled, a paladin gnome known for betraying Greystone's values of honour, courage, and humility, opting instead to take the Oathbreaker path.
Much controversy surrounds Farquaad's eventual death at the age of 169 - young for his race. His autopsy revealed death by blood loss caused by 72 lacerations to the neck and back, and was ruled a suicide. Conspiracy theorists point out two facts: one, that Farquaad's death and Garf Eeled's oath-breaking line up chronologically; and two, that the lacerations in Farquaad's back spelled the word "lasagna".
Silverbeard's Relic, the Shield of Abjuration, has gone missing and has not been seen since Farquaad's untimely death.
