Rekna
the warrior
Rekna the warrior, grand champion in hand to hand combat on Vesa, was accepted by Aethos to train mankind, give them discipline, and improve their physique so that they could stand with the Vesaja and defeat the titan's . Aside from training human armies, Rekna was also very active in the earlier stages of the Salvation . His biggest contribution, and arguably the biggest Vesajan achievement on Tera, was the killing of the deadly dragon Firi. Their fight was well documented, allthough nobody was actually there to see it. Rekna solely crossed the sea, which was still the home of several leviathi at the time, and fought the giant dragon on the island-continent it came from : Firigront. The fight was said to have taken several months, and at the end the vesajan warrior stood victorious. Now alone on the island made him realise it's beauty, and he quickly fell in love with the land. Eager to share his findings and claim his glory, Rekna returned to western Theria.
He was greatly celebrated upon his return, but somehow couldn't find joy anymore as his mind was constantly drifting back to his beautifull island. He also sended a change in Arkun , who he had known well for a very long time dating back to long before the landing on Tera. Not able to shake this feeling of ill intent and constantly longing to return to the island, Rekna decided to continue his work alone. With the promise of new fertile lands he persuaded many farmers to join him on his return to Firigon . The vesajan warrior considered these farmers as his children, and vowed his life to their wellbeing. The colony thrived, and grew exponentially.
Arkun attacking the east and starting The god-wars came as no surprise to Rekna. He wanted to protect his own people at all costs, and closed off the island from the outside world, taking a neutral stance in the war. He would watch in disgust as his vesajan kin would fight on the mainland, destroying the land and all things beautiful with magic. He never was a fan of magic, but now he felt hate towards it, resenting what it stands for, and what it could do. He made the decision to ban magic completely on the island, and spread the idea that all magic is evil between the people.
In the year 426 A.V., a coalition between Arkun and Damatis invaded Firigon in an attempt to gain control over the Sea of men . For this they used a hit- and run technique where they would destroy entire villages on the western and southern coast of the island. The island was simply too big for the Firigan army to react in time, and to Rekna, every death of a firigan citizen was one too many. With his magic he destroyed the western coast and created a barrier of cliffs that would work as a shield against the west. This "scarring of Firigon" caused him alot of grief, but it worked and the Firigan forces could now succesfully repel the waves of attacks. Rekna swore that this was the last time he ever used magic, and that the one responsible for this would pay for what he did.
Rekna and his firigans then took a defensive stance for the entirity of the war, waiting for the perfect time to attack, which came at the very end of the war. As Rekna would never order his soldiers to fight and die on foreign land, his army at this time consisted only of volunteers. These volunteers had enjoyed the best possible training one could ever have gotten, being trained by the god of war himself. This army, the "Prima Rekna" , invaded west-Theria, and took the capital city of Arkalon in a matter of weeks. Arkun's army was already heavily weakened by the rebellion of Arnethius , but capturing the capital in weeks was still an incredible feat. Word of Rekna and his legendary fighting force quickly spread around the globe.
During the last years of his time on Tera, a coalition between Rekna's Prima Rekna and nomads sieged the grand city of Kos in Suthria , as they also participated in the invasion of his beloved island. During this siege, in 551 A.V., God-lord Rekna got banned just like the other Vesaja, effectively ending the war as his fighting force returned home.
Many fighting techniques stem back to Rekna's teachings in the early days, and therefore he would never be forgotten. Many soldiers from all the corners in the world pray to the vesajan warrior for strenght and courage before battle. But for those living in Firigon, he was much more than just the god of war. Most of the standards and rules that were during his reign, still stand the day of today. The biggest example is the firigan ban on magic, and the importance of hand to hand combat.

Ascendants
Rekne ascended alot of his soldiers during his reign. Tournaments were often held, where the winner would receive a fraction of the vesajan warrior's power. This ascension gave the receiver improved strenght, reflexes and stamina, which would make them alot stronger in hand to hand combat. Because of obvious reasons, magic was never given.
Many of the greatest warriors alive today, inherited their power from these ascendants.
Reki
The former home of Rekna, the palace of Reki, grew out to become the capital of Firigon after the banning.
