Rathar the Azure
Rathar the Azure (born Rathar Baro) was a recruited man-at-arms and eventual nobleman who founded the Ratharid House. During the founding days of The Martellite Empire, he was enraptured by Martin Eleanor's message of unity, and led a revolt within his home duchy to join the upstart duke in forming the Empire.
Rathar earned his epithet when Martin Eleanor bestowed upon him one of The Gem Blades for his loyal service, being The Sapphire Sword.
