Leonfleur Dynasty
The Leonfleur Dynasty is a family in The Martellite Empire. They are a cadet branch of the greater Ratharid House, placing them lower in the general hierarchy as smaller duchy holders. The Leonfleur Dynasty is unlike many other houses of their station, as they generally avoid hostile subterfuge such as curses and assassination to grow their power base. They are more likely to utilize fabricated claims and dubiously acquired alliances to protect their assets. Many of their leaders have a tendency to ensure their inheritance goes to only one child by placing those they deem unfit for rule into the church, consolidating and concentrating their holdings. This lends them a decent deal of favor with the Arcturian church as well, as a number of cousins hold various positions at many levels.
