Duchy of Ariella
Ariella is a duchy within The Martellite Empire, and is considered the capital province of the nation. Its seat is in Silverhall, the castle built by Martin Eleanor when he first went about uniting the Original Duchies.
When Charles Henrik Ecleziar completed his usurpation, he kept Silverhall as the capital to instill in the people hope that the nation was back on the right track. By restoring the capital to the glory it once had under Martin Eleanor, the morale of the nation grew tenfold.
Ariella is home to a vast lake and vibrant, albeit diminishing forests. Much of the timber within the province is used for building or trade, and much is being done to meet the demand.
