Red Hills

The foothills of the eastern slopes of the Left Arm of Tolesh.

Geography

The West Hills climb up westward from the ow Riddari to the heights of the Left Arm of Tolesh. The mountains block a lot of precipitation from the To the north the hills are very arid, almost desert like, but as the further south you go, the more lush the West Hills get., until you are in full out jungle swamps in the @Emerald reaches.

Fauna & Flora

Semi-arid desert in the north, temperate forests in the center, lush jungle in the south. The area is know for big cats, which top the food chain. Crag Cats in the north, lions in the north center, tigers to the south center, and jaguars to the south. Panthers roam the whole range. This is the native home of the halfling. The center area is dotted with small halfling communities, the northern area has tribal (American Indian) groups, and the southern area has wild barbaric halfling tribes (African Pygmy). The higher reaches of the southern hills has remote lofty, halfling villages (akin to Peruvians). A sizable gnome concentration lives in the north central area.
