Pella of Merthiorn
The first son of Niruim, daughter of the Queen Onnamar, and Flame, a noblefolk from Spire was Pella of Merthiorn, a successful accountant of the Merthiornite crown in charge of the finances of his mother's institution.
He was big, full-bodied, and had short brown fur through his body, with splotches of blonde hair on the front of his neck and chest.
His toes were webbed, his tail long, thick and muscular and his ears tiny and rounded, all traits that made him excellent at swimming.
Her mother Niruim was the sister of Queen Tesel and the founder of The Knowledgeholders, an organisation dedicated to the acquisition and documenting of information that is still standing. Though the sciences and history didn't escape him, Pella was less academically inclined than his little brother Nimo, instead avocating himself more to matters of economics and administration, helping his mother with the tasks necessary to keep the Knowledgeholders paid and the Majestic Library afloat. He learned accounting professionally and continued working for his mother's business until his death in 3014 E.Alz, when he succumbed to rust complications alongside her and their family as The High Rust swept their kingdom. He never married and died without children.

He sounds like he was a good guy. I really like (probably not the right word) how the High Rust always permeates and casts a shadow over all of your articles. It really drives home what a significant event it was in SoP.
