Nimo of Merthiorn
Taken too soon by an unidentified disease, Nimo of Merthiorn was the first son of Niruim, daughter of the Queen Onnamar, and Flame, a noblefolk from Spire.
He had coarse grey fur through his back and tail and black on his chest and extremities. His face was white with fluffy ears, two black lines running to the sides of his snout between his dark eyes, and a black jaw.
He liked playing in the woods with his brother Pella, trying different musical instruments, and terrorising his tutors with silly pranks and pointed questions.

Nimo was born in the 17th of Preparing, 2974 E.Alz in the City of Goldwaste, then capital of the Kingdom of Merthiorn.
Her mother, Niruim of Merthiorn, was the sister of Queen Tesel and the founder of The Knowledgeholders, an organisation dedicated to the acquisition and documenting of information that is still standing. He grew surrounded by books, scholars and tutors of all kinds, and showed a good aptitude for music and an interest in sword fighting, a talent he learned from his aunt Velegrim. Nimo's health started to decline when he was 10 years old, suffering frequent stomach upsets and sometimes becoming exhausted easily. Despite visiting many renowned health professionals of all sorts of fields, a diagnosis could not be found for the boy, whose breathing became more laboured as he reached 11, and sometimes compromised by bloody coughs by the end of his days.
He passed away on the 19th of Celebrating of 2987 E.Alz, a month after his 12th birthday. His parents declined for doctors to open his body to try to find the cause of his death, and despite some insistence from the royal family, their decision was respected. The cause of his early demise remains unknown.
