Empyrean
Purpose / Function
The Empyrean is the impenetrable heart of the Elysian faith, where doctrine is crafted, approved, and enforced. All worship and information flows through these white-stone walls. Alongside the grand chapel devoted to Meraki lies the Crucible Halls, where sacred weapons and armor are forged for the Disenthrall.
Architecture
Rounded roof tops, and white stone with stained glass make up this building's walls.

Tourism
Pilgrims from distant lands journey to Athanasia for the chance to witness the Empyrean firsthand. Though its great doors open freely to the public, only select individuals ever glimpse its deeper chambers. Most visitors come seeking proof of Meraki's guiding hand or hoping to catch even a passing sight of the Solarch, the living voice of the divine Light.
