Maiaaks (My-aaks)
Maiaaks, also known as monsters or demons, come in all shapes, forms, sizes, and even color. Some have claws, wings, horns, and/or fangs. Overall, maiaaks are better fitted than the average human. With more strength, speed, heightened senses, and in some cases even higher intelligence, maiaaks easily overpower the human race. This isn't including the use of their levix energy. While maiaaks are naturally stronger than the average human, it does not mean that humans did not find a way to oppose maiaaks, thus they are not completely unbeatable. Maiaaks have been terrorizing humans since the dawn of creation, and even after being split into a new realm, maiaaks continue to find ways to hunt down and terrorize humans.
Basic Information
Dietary Needs and Habits
While maiaaks can live off fruit, vegetation, and game meat from the Eqexus, most prefer the taste of humans. Be that their blood, flesh, or even their soul.
Behaviour
Maiaaks firmly believe power is king. If you're not strong then you are simply not worthy. The second thing they consider is wealth. Treasures, gold, and especially artifacts. The more one has in possession, the more desirable they seem. If an individual maiaak has both power and wealth, they are considered to be an apex.
Additional Information
Average Intelligence
Though their culture places greater value on strength than scholarship, maiaaks as a species are highly intelligent, often surpassing humans in fields related to power, survival, and the supernatural. Many possess centuries of lived experiences, advance knowledge of magic and levix forces, and complex political awareness. However, academic curiosity is considered a luxury of the weak; only those whose intellect enhances their dominance invest heavily in study or innovation.
Civilization and Culture
History
The maiaaks use to live side by side with the humans in the ethlon realm until the eqexus was created.
Interspecies Relations and Assumptions
It isn't unheard of for maiaaks to breed with other breeds of maiaaks. However for a maiaak to breed with a human is usually even more so frowned upon.
