An elder Lasombra and former Sabbat and cartel leader. Alfonso Santana Ruíz has been the don of the Hijós de Ruíz for nearly a hundred years. When he struck a deal with the NY Camarilla for membership, he dismantled his entire cartel until only remnant gangs remained; as well as destroying his Sabbat assets. His three childer and their packs. Though one survived. Vincent Cole.
Now Alfonso and Vincent are in a contest to kill one another. The first to kill the other gains membership with the New York Camarilla.
Though he keeps up with fashion styles of the times, he tends towards an "aristocratic" look. No matter the era.
Unbeknownst to the Phoenix Crew coterie, Alfonso kept a close eye on them all. Under the guise of Antonio. Just before the execution of Oliver and William he had approached Margreth Fairstad's sire as this Antonio, and "archeologist" of sorts. Promising a lead towards the next "shard" in this Gangrel sire-child duo's quest.
However, this "promising lead" was a trap orchestrated by Alfonso for the Phoenix Crew, more specifically Vincent Cole. So he may finally kill his thorn-in-his-side childer and become a member of the New York Camarilla.
Yet in a twist of events the coterie managed to beat the Lasombra elder. Sending him into Torpor. Vincent making absolute sure the elder wouldn't wake up again by staking him. Alfonso Santana Ruíz is currently in the Phoenix Crew's custody, as Vincent awaits his first opportunity to present his treacherous sire in front of the New York Camarilla Court, and execute him in exchange for membership into the sect.
On the 11th of December 2023, Alfonso met Final Death. Executed whilst in torpor and staked by Vincent Cole.
