Zegaath (Z-Ay-Ga-Th)
The Wartorn Continent. From the western mountain range of the Thrandallian Kingdom to the Elven villas of the snow-covered forests of Frostmore, the vast nature of this continent is riddled with strife. The landscapes are vast with each Kingdom having their own biome connected to the region they rule over. The great forest of the elven land of Elandorr overflowing with the very essence of nature. The southern Spire Forrest of Riven is sprawled out on rolling hills that comprise the rest of the kingdom. Marshadar has its vast marshland and mangrove forests connected with an extensive and complex labyrinth of underwater cave systems. The sand seas of Braxxis constantly shift with its winds and heat revealing the bonegrounds where lost creatures perished outside of the controlled Oases. The heroes pass in the mountains of Narrarax where adventures go to make a name for themselves through the terrain's challenges. The long-abandoned kingdom of Zerathal lies in the Ghostwood with the decay and death of a past battle scaring the entire territory. The ocean's edge of Point Crax holds the main hub for imports and exports on the continent. And the Midnight Isle's archipelago and its closed-off ecosystem from the rest of the continent as a whole.
This region of the world has proven time and time again that they will always fall back into the contact conflict of war between any and all the factions which dwell here. Peace over the whole continent tends to last very shortly between each kingdom.
Geography
Zegaath is geographically diverse as many of the claimed areas are their own unique ecosystems. From the Tropical Midnight Isle to the plains of ice in Frostmore or the sands of Braxxis' wide desert, each kingdom has claimed their own terrain. Most of the shores however are harsh and impassible for most ships leading to Point Crax's dominance in the trade in the kingdoms often leading to it being exempt from most of the wars.
Natural Resources
Zegaath has an abundance of natural resources. Several vast forests, mountain ranges with plenty of gems and minerals, and many magical resources.
History
Since the first settlers of Zegaath as a part of the new world expansion in 130AF (After Formation), the very first people on the content were in conflict. From this expansion onwards, throughout the ages and especially during the Fiendish Incursion war has been every era on Zegaath.
The First Settlers here were the Dwarves who lead the Great Draconic Purge from the Mountains which now house their kin in the lands now known as Thrandallas. Thus the first bloodshed on this continent was between these Dwarves and the Dragons who migrated a century prior. These six dwarven clans intermingled during the purge becoming one clan, the dwarven Dragonslaying clan, the Drakendrengi.
