Ruyan
Choices Have Consequences. Costly is the Redemption of a Soul. I am a Redeemer, I will pay the price. I am a Deliverer I will sacrifice.
Ruyan is the husband of Zung.
Ruyan is the father of Ruyi and Ru.
Ruyan is killed by Bletz.
He knows that he will go to fight Bletz and his army and will probably die so he provides for his family.
Ruyan sends his wife Zung to Magar's Cove knowing that Bletz will be going West and North and not East and North.
Ruyan makes an agreement to give all of his wealth to King Yulin of Jaune, if Yulin will build a training fortress for his son Ruyi.
Ruyan plants his son Ru in the family of Bletz knowing that Bletz will adopt him as a son as a way to show solidarity with Ruyan's tribe after his death.
Ruyan tells his son Ru to sketch a picture of one of Bletz's daughters, whose name is Kiloa, and to help his son Ruyi find a time when he can come and take her to be his wife.
Ru draws the picture and leaves instructions for Ruyi.
Kiloa is in the place and she willingly goes with him to his citadel.
Ru in the meanwhile, eventually defects from the army after Bletz is killed and goes back in his father's footsteps making peace along the route that they conquered and establishing himself in his father's old house and making it into a fortress.
Ruyi has begun to do similar things, raiding through the lands of Jaune and even heading north some. Eventually, however Ruyi meets up with Ru and realizes that Yulin is asking him to go to war with his own brother, so he leaves with Kiloa and their daughter Suli to go to Rouge. Along the way to Rouge, Rougeon and Hazdi's two worthless sons attack him and Ruyi kills them both. This causes a split in the kingdom of Rouge. Rougeon adopts Kiloa and Ruyi to bring power to him through the battle school. Hazdi runs away in pain at the death of his son and makes his way to the Valley of Scavengers where he makes an Alliance with Maiyo (aka Benraku) the wicked grandson of King Yulin, and the son of Raku (who was killed also by his own brother Tamo) and Silvikyn.
