Duchess Mary Runeshire

Duchess Mary Runeshire is the elegant wife of Duke Richard Runeshire and a prominent figure from House Brittlewood. Her family's house is renowned for its timber exports, leveraging Gale's largest forest, the Eastern Wood. Despite Brittlewood's predominantly Wood Elf population, Mary is human and was one of the few humans to hold a high diplomatic position within her home region before her betrothal and marriage to Richard, a union strategically forged to strengthen alliances between House Runeshire and House Brittlewood.   Known for her lavish taste and a distinct penchant for fine jewelry, Mary also dedicated herself to homeschooling her children, Daren and Crystal. She was a strict educator, particularly emphasizing proper diplomatic etiquette and virtues during their formative years. In her leisure time, she meticulously tends to the famous Runeshire roses that adorn the city's Rose District. She holds a soft spot for elves and frequently indulges her love for nature by exploring the Parchwoods surrounding Runeshire on horseback.
