Marshgate
History
As the heart of Moonstone Bay's defenses, Marshgate has a strong military heritage that still influences its culture and architecture. Its streets have a weathered, timeworn feel, but there’s always a sense of movement — the port teems with sailors, merchants, travelers, and locals who have built lives amidst the salt and silt.
The Marshgate community carries a blend of military discipline and the relaxed hustle of a port town. Many are descendants of the original defenders of the harbor, though newer generations have mingled with the seafaring folk from other nations no longer at war.
The Marshgate Community is practical, tough, and welcoming to strangers, though the locals have a habit of keeping an eye on those who might not belong. The community values resilience, loyalty, and an ability to work together in times of trouble .
