Stradeth
The Enduring Mountain
The god of the unjustly judged, the downtrodden, and the oppressed. Stradeth watches over the innocents, and makes sure that the truth surfaces about them should either a court of law or society unjustly judge them. He is especially affronted by torture, as it often forces a prisoner into a fake confession. Constantly at odds with Azdar, a quick way to gain Stradeth's favor is to undermine and strike down followers of the foul god.
His temples often offer sanctuary to those seeking it, meaning that the authorities may not arrest anyone within the walls of the temple. His clergy tries and hear both sides of a story, but is quick to expel the truly guilty for exploiting their kindness. Stradeth's clergy is also known to stand up for the marginalized, and its military has freed several territories from control by the Cult of Azdar before. The temples dedicated to him are amongst the few that are still respected amongst the people, as its head priest famously refused to participate in the Grand Folly.
