Heavy stonework with brutal lines.
Purely functional for defence.

Heavily fortified Gatehouse with layered towers.
Often (and deliberately made) the target of attacks from the Great Forest. Also used to monitor the movement of the mining groups and, more importantly, the cultivators.
Heavily reinforced with esoteric defences, not obviously noticeable to mortals or lower cultivators.
