Temperate rainforest and Wetland

Temperate Climate

Temperate rainforest- A middle-temperature, wet climate where it heavily rains or snows depending on the time of year.

Wetland- The swamp is very damp but not too hot or cold. Rains a lot and is brackish water.

Temperate rainforest:

Flora- Sessile oak woodland, with smaller areas of birch, alder and ash trees. Ferns, mosses, liverworts, lichen and orchids.

Fauna- Otters, red squirrels, pipistrelle bats, deer, reed bunting, spotted flycatcher, skylark, bullfinch, linnet, song thrush, golden eagles, sea eagles, osprey, butterflies, dragonflies, moths and beetles.

Wetland:

Flora- Any vegetation that can be submerged or float on/in water as well as fungi and hardwood trees.

Fauna- Fish, frogs, salamanders, snakes, lizards, turtles, alligators, crocodiles, waterfowl, waders, voles, bats, muskrats, platypus, beavers, coypu, swamp rabbit, Florida panther, jaguar, moose, dragonflies, aquatic bugs and beetles, midges, mosquitos, crabs, crayfish, shrimps, microcrustaceans, clams, mussels, snails and worms.

Temperate rainforest:

Lumber (hardwood), ferns, mosses, liverworts, lichen, orchids, berries, stone fruit, fowl, venison, furs, pelts, herbs (cooking and healing), mushrooms.

Wetland:

Lumber (hardwood), fish, algae, scales, berries, stone fruit, fowl, venison, furs, pelts, herbs (cooking and healing) and fungi.
