Skrul Darkborn himself sanctioned the resurrection, desiring his enforcer returned for vengeance. The ritual, known as “The Red Rebirth,” bound Noverok’s spirit into his old body—his soul shackled by runic servitude. When he rose again, the first thing he said was: “Still I live—still I kill. The Executioner thirsts.” Now a warped revenant, Noverok obeyed Thikkit’s commands and Skrul’s orders: to hunt down Chyric and Skitter Fellbite, whose survival insulted the Council.
