Purideas

Once upon the very first time in the Perpetuarium, perfection was a possibility, and because it was possible, it became true. Every potentiality, for an instant, took its perfect form, and with a will to persist, these frequencies settled themselves at the gateway between the Omnul and Its Dream.   Then everything went back to normal.

The twenty-four initial fractures of the Omnul are the twenty-four Purideas: the blueprints and base ingredients from which the current iteration builds itself. In the realm of the Purideas, the quondamaric “plasma” realigns into the patterns that persist from prior iterations of the Dream (the Omnul’s previous pulse).   The perfect, uncorrupted spectrum of separated frequencies is preserved in these ideal forms generated by the consciousnesses who can conceive them without reaching them, and each defines the range of energies of their own internal fractures. Interaction between the Purideas and their constituent energies causes the dynamic potentialities within the Quondamarie to come together, to break apart, and sometimes, if enough force is applied, to coalesce into relative permanence.   All things are possible and true, but depending on the frequency of a given dimension, some concepts are—at least, locally—more consistently possible and true than others.   Despite limitations and the ever-changing landscapes between realities, there are some principles that remain stable. These are the ideals that we have in mind when we begin, and those which we hold in our hearts even when things don’t go as perfectly as we’d hoped. The realm of the Purideas connects the mind of the Creator with the minds of the Created. This is the conduit between the ideal and the real: the thing you had in mind and the thing you got.   Each iteration has its own version of the Purideas, refined and filtered through countless iterations before it, which define that iteration’s frequency range. This is the unreachable edge of everything where we keep our ultimate archives—everything here is the most pure and perfect version of whatever it is, representing the ideal form of all its imperfect counterparts below. It is a symbiotic relationship: these beings and ideals shape our paths and our stories just as we shape theirs. The energies within this boundary between the infinite and the finite define, and are defined by, the ideas and activity beneath their curves.   Gods are as real as you want them to be. They're archetypes for the frequencies they represent. The Omnul is all the frequencies at once; the Purideas are all the frequencies at every point in the spectrum, in their purest state. They are the patterns upon which all else manifests: the idea that precludes its own implementation.   Gods, archetypes, and ideal forms manifest in the objective perfection within the thin membrane between “Everything” and “Something.” This state is not typically accessible to mortals and other less-than-perfect beings, other than our ability to conceive of, and reach toward, such ideals. Non-deities who touch this dimension, however briefly, are usually affected forever.
