Xyphil (zaɪ' fɪl)

Personality:

Soft spoken in crowds but in his native wood his voice is that of rustling leaves blown by the breeze. The only visits to 'cities' (anything larger than a hamlet) as he calls them to investigate if an area is being over-logged or to consult with local leaders about the importance of using only what is needed or necessary from the forest when he sees the resources are being abused.

 

History:

He spent all of his life learning to defend and when he came of age, protecting and guarding the Great Northern Woodlands. Born to a nomadic tribe of forest dwellers. He is the product of a merging of a tribe of humans and sylvan elves. After years of fighting, a truce was made, and to seal the truce a merging of the tribes was agreed upon. Xyphil was taught how to appreciate the forests from the perspective of both humans and elves. This marriage actually gained the attention of Pi'ong Da'i because of its true sincerity and the devotion that both tribes invested in it. Xyphil has developed a following of the newer generation and it's not uncommon for groups to go on excursions for days on end to learn and gain more knowledge of the forests. He will still defer to his elders and his devotion to the now massive tribe is only seconded by his love of the forest. Pi'ong Da'i has not presented herself to him but he does recognize that his skills are clearly becoming superior to his peers and is very quickly surpassing his mentors, even some of the elders have noticed he is exceeding their skills as the same age. Xyphil is completely unaware of the full extent of his abilities as she is slowly letting him "grow into" them.  

Divine Powers:

• Create Forest - This allows the growth of approximately 1500 square miles of forest ^*
• Revive Forest - gives the ability to completely revive a dying forest that is dying from blight or other natural causes such as flood or fire ^*
• Control plant growth - the ability to make a plant grow from 10x to 0.1x their normal rate *
• Create woodland plant - allows the creation of any woodland plant that Xyphil knows to grow in a particular woodland biome *
• Know Flora - know all properties of any woodland biome plant or tree
