Pi'ong Da'i (paɪ ɔŋ dɑː iː)

Symbols:

.Fully grown tree

Physical Form Appearance:

Always wears a wreath of holly in the winter time and an oak one during the summer months

Personality/Demeanor:

.Truly believes in nature taking its normal course and also knows that sentient beings need space to live; as long as this does not encroach on the surrounding flora and fauna too much and there is a balance between the give and take from nature. She is the personification of the natural order of all things nature. She knows the full cycle of all of the plants and animals from birth to death from the smallest insect to the largest tree. Her primary enemies are all forms of undead.

History/Ascension:

Found and raised 3 of the 4 patrons of the seasons(Spring, Summer, and Fall). Unbeknownst to them that their mother was in fact the goddess herself. Pi'ong was found by Karlatina in a substantial expansive grove. Her interactions with all of the inhabitants were a true marvel to Karlatina. Pi'ong actually defended the rampaging of a tarrasque. Her belief and her rationale was that the beast destroyed so new things may grow. “Nature does not see good and evil but balanced and unbalanced. If there is an imbalance, then it will do what is necessary to restore that balance regardless of the perception of good or evil.” She warned of its coming but did no interfere with its path and warned she would defend its path again those that would try to impede it or try to harm it. She will only use her bow to deter those exploiting her terrain; if necessary, she will kill if they are foolish enough to ignore her warning. She will use her boku-toh on either animals or humans that may be inclined to test her skill or determination up close and personal or if she feels that they can be shown the error of their ways without their death. Pi'ong Da'i has long since mastered Guardian Ranger skills for all terrains.

Divine Powers:

  • Terraform – She can transform any area of land into a new biome, this can also be reversed and she can strip the land bare through her ability of ‘Forsaken Land’.
  • Forsaken Land – She can completely strip an area of all-natural growth and vegetation, this can last for as long as she deems it necessary, from a few moments to prove a point, to centuries, nothing will grow here until she releases the land.
  • Wild Growth – This lets Pi’ong Da’i have an existing biome become completely overgrown as if it has not been disturbed for decades. This will not affect the fauna in the area but only the flora.
  • Touch of Pi'ong Da'i – A single seed from any native plant in its native terrain will grow to its fullest maturity in half the time.

    Artifacts

She is known to posses an artifact call “The Mighty Rod of the Sacred Grove”. It can appear as a small stick holding her hair up to as large as an ancient oak tree. Each time the rod is used to create anything larger then a 10’ tree, the wielder must create a new rod from a branch of the tree created. This branch has to be cleared of bark and errant branches and a blessing spoken in thanks to Pi’ong Da’i. This process takes about a day regardless of the skill or level of the user. Pi’ong Da’i is able to do this in mere moments, hence the ability to create a sacred grove in mere days to even hours. The time to create a single tree for sacred grove ranges from a week to a day based on the level of the holder of the rod. Be warned though, that anyone not a druid trying to use this seemingly innocuous stick, could easily find themselves entombed in a tree, no saving throw.
