Pandorian Religion

Clearly defined Hierarchy of Aria to demi-god/dess. It is, however, possible to move up the rank structure given time, support, effort, and maybe just a little intrigue.The most powerful of the deities are ranked as Greater Deities. These beings are the oldest of the pantheon and have the greatest influence on those of lesser rank. They are also the farthest removed from the direct matters of the mortal world, but also can alter so much with just a thought. There are 8 Greater Deities and are idolized as the 8 Disciples of Aria, as these were the first deities chosen by Aria.

The next class of omnipotent beings are the Lesser Deities. As these beings may not be quite as powerful but they are amazingly impressive in their abilities and their influence. These 'Lesser' beings have a little more influence in the mortal sphere of existance and can be a both bane or a benefit to those that call upon them.

The next tier are the Supported Demi-Gods & Goddesses, these individuals are at the door step of being full fledged gods themselves. These individual are gods in training and have the direct support of their respective patrons. They may not have omnipotent power, but at the discretion of their patron they can appear to be both terrifying and wonderful, depending on their path to godhood.

The basic level of being an all powerful being is that of the demigod. These people are under the watchful eye of a particular deity, just sitting back and seeing where they go and what they do. Maybe occasionally putting a whisper in the wind of an extraordinary individual.

There are approximately one to two million followers of the Pandorian faith, with this number gradually growing.

Each deity has its own granted divine powers either through its direct patron or sphere of influence that was developed by the deity themselves

Primarily there are individual sects based upon the specific deity. A standing non-violent division is the sects that believe that Aria and Karlatina are one and the same, just that Karlatina is the physical manifestation of Aria, and the other that believes that Karlatina is separate but equal to Aria and carries out zir works.
