Tabousa

This nation is one of, if not the oldest known in Pandoria.

Structure

The country is run by a council of nine elves, with there being three groups of three. The three groups are worker, warrior and religious. Depending on the circumstances of a particular event, a decision is reach by the appropriate group.

Culture

All individuals that live here, when they reach the age of 60, are allowed to choose which of the three factions they wish to join. Up to that age, a person is expected to experience as much as possible with all of the factions. A person's parents can influence, but it is ultimately left up to the individual. However, it is fully understood and accepted by all that once this choice is made, it is for the rest of their lives, so this is not taken lightly.

Once they decide what faction they wish to join, their training begins and lasts for no less than 50 years but can easily last as long as 100 years, depending on their factions.

It is rare, but not unheard of, where members of a single family may be of a different group. An even rarer event is someone changing factions; it has happened in the past. Should a person decide they wish to change factions, the individual begins a transition period that lasts 12 years. During that time they are given the opportunity to go under the tutelage of the masters of each factions for four years each. At the end of this transition they may choose to continue in their current faction

The warrior group of this nation are the primary defenders of the land, the exact number is unknown but it is estimated in the thousands.

What is known about the military is that the training to go from a raw recruit to what is considered a full warrior is no less than 50 years and is possibly longer if the individual is a specialist in a particular discipline.

    Religion

    Devout Animists

    Foreign Relations

Tabousans are tolerant of others but keep a fair distance socially. To others they appear to be aloof or even 'snobbish' and to Tabousans other races at best impolite and at worst, uncivilized.

    Open Trade Agreement, Tense

Open Trade Agreement due to Merchant Road , however diplomatically they see their neighbor to the south as uncivilized

    Open Trade Agreement, Uneasy Peace

Open trade due to Merchant Road between their capitals. Tabousans see their neighbor to the north as uncooth and just barely better than barbarians but seem to be trustworthy.
