Elf

Elves in this world are a graceful and ethereal species known for their pointed ears and lack of facial and body hair. They have a natural affinity for nature and possess a keen sense of sight, hearing, and perception. Elves live for around 750 years, aging slowly and maintaining their youthful appearance for centuries. Instead of sleeping, they enter a trance when they need to rest. In that state, they remain aware of their surroundings while immersing themselves in memories and meditations.   There are several distinct lineages of elves, each with its own unique characteristics and traditions. High Elves are known for their intelligence, wisdom, and magical abilities. Wood Elves are deeply connected to nature, living in harmony with the forests and the creatures that dwell within. Drow, often seen as outsiders, reside in the dark jungles of Leryia, where they have developed a unique culture and set of values.   Rumors persist about the existence of Eladrin and Grey Elves, two other elven lineages that are said to have been present during the Great Wars. However, neither has been seen in over 2000 years. If they do exist, it is believed that they have retreated into the Shade or Feywilds, realms beyond the mortal world.   The First Elves arrived in the world with Inas and Ryheia more than 5000 years ago, but very few records of that time have survived. Much of their history has been lost, leaving many questions unanswered about their origins and their early experiences. They do not know what world they came from, only that they were tricked into serving the Dragon and Great Cats until the Velorians arrived and freed them.

As an Elf, you have these special traits.   Darkvision
You have Darkvision with a range of 60 feet.   Elven Lineage
You are part of a lineage that grants you supernatural abilities. Choose a lineage from the Elven Lineages table. You gain the level 1 benefit of that lineage.   Fey Ancestry
You have Advantage on saving throws you make to avoid or end the Charmed condition.   Keen Senses
You have proficiency in the Insight, Perception, or Survival skill.   Trance
You don’t need to sleep, and magic can’t put you to sleep. You can finish a Long Rest in 4 hours if you spend those hours in a trancelike meditation, during which you retain consciousness.
