Sea Elf

Sea Elves are a graceful and aquatic species deeply connected to the ocean. They possess a natural affinity for water, able to breathe underwater and move with incredible speed and agility. Sea Elves are known for their love of the wild beauty of the ocean, and they often spend their lives exploring its depths and marveling at its wonders.   Many Sea Elves arrived in the world with Inas and Ryheia more than 5000 years ago, but very few records of that time have survived. Much of their history has been lost, leaving many questions unanswered about their origins and their early experiences. They do not know what world they came from, only that they were tricked into serving the Dragon and Great Cats until the Velorians arrived and freed them.   Sea Elves are rarely seen on land, preferring the vastness and freedom of the ocean. It is believed that their numbers dwindled significantly during the Great War, and that they may have retreated to the depths of the ocean to escape the conflict. Rumors persist of hidden cities beneath the waves, where Sea Elves may have established their own thriving communities.   Despite their rarity, Sea Elves remain a fascinating and mysterious species. Their connection to the ocean is unparalleled, and their knowledge of the underwater world is unmatched.

Sea Elf Traits

  As a Sea Elf, you have these special traits.   Darkvision
You have Darkvision with a range of 60 feet.   Child of the Sea You can breathe air and water, and you have resistance to cold damage.   Elven Lineage
You are part of a lineage that grants you supernatural abilities. You gain the level 1 benefit of that lineage.   When you reach character levels 3 and 5, you learn a higher-level spell, as shown on the table. You always have that spell prepared. You can cast it once without a spell slot, and you regain the ability to cast it in that way when you finish a Long Rest. You can also cast the spell using any spell slots you have of the appropriate level.   Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma is your spellcasting ability for the spells you cast with this trait (choose the ability when you select the lineage).

Shape Water Aquatic animals have an extraordinary affinity with your people. You can charm any beast with Animal Friendship that has a swimming speed Air Bubble
Fey Ancestry
You have Advantage on saving throws you make to avoid or end the Charmed condition.   Keen Senses
You have proficiency in the Insight, Perception, or Survival skill.   Trance
You don’t need to sleep, and magic can’t put you to sleep. You can finish a Long Rest in 4 hours if you spend those hours in a trancelike meditation, during which you retain consciousness.
