Neos
Neos is a subcontinent in the world of Omne. It is home to a considerable array of human, and some non-human, races.
Climate
The majority of Neos' landmass sits between the 45 degrees north and the equator. This means Neos' climate patterns vary widely based on the specific region.
History
The predicted time of settlement and origin of population varies depending on the region:
- Northern. The northernmost regions of Neos are among the oldest, likely owing their lineage to ancient Nanaran tribes.
- Midwestern & Northwestern. Most of these regions of Neos were inhabited in the years following the Andlian Exodus by a plethora of tribes and peoples forced east by the expansion of the Andlian Empire.
- Southwest Neos. Regions in the southwest portion of the continent came about following the collapse of the empires of Talesia.
- Mideastern. The mid-east regions of the Iron Mountains were originally settled by a migrating group of the Bornstutt race.
- Southeastern. The coastal regions of the mid-east are either inspired by, or descended from, the Antiguan civilization.
