Ŋüðúrr

Ŋüðúrr was the third Öšdúu-Lómóhüd, reigning over the city of Lómóhüd from 24997 to 24979 AYM. He is widely venerated as one of the greatest rulers of the city due to his development and widespread implementation of the Ëvoðo-Ŋüðúrr, which remains the most effective short-term strategy against the Maðúšýï raids. However, his reputation has soured somewhat due to the vulnerable state this strategy placed the city inside, which would contribute to its partial razing during the Battle of Lómóhüd just three years after his death.

Biography

Ŋüðúrr was born in 25034 AYM, and experienced the tumultuous last few years of the Ýmor-Šapariž period within the Ïlýrhonid Tribe. He was part of the Ërtúfën Family, which uses specific markings and holes formed in the Eŋi-Prëdurëp basin during the Ýyorhïsïb birth ritual to form the name of the resultant baby. This matches the format of the name itself, whose moderately repetitive composition (note the repeated 'u' and 'r') is indicative of similarly-arranged markings.

These include the 25032 AYM Hayïdic Expedition as well as the culmination of the Ýmïlýrhonid Movement in the highly-successful Wýðúric and Khýnýšic Expeditions. These latter expeditions would give rise to two major waves of emigration in 25026-25 AYM, and Ŋüðúrr's own departure from the Tribe was almost certainly a part of one of these major emigrations. Being merely seven to nine years old at the time, he would have been accompanied by his caretaker, whose own name has been lost to history.
