Battle of the Lost Blades
The Conflict
Outcome
The company never arrived at the front and the units waiting for reinforcements had to hold without them.
Aftermath
The mystery of their attackers continued to trouble the leadership of the Order of the Light, since an entire company of fully trained knights, wielding the power of the Light expressly to do battle with evil, had somehow been overwhelmed inside the borders of the Kingdom.
Historical Significance
Legacy
The battleground is a sacred site, known as The Unfallen Banner where curious visitors and pilgrims who aspire to be Paladins as well visit regularly to witness for themselves the mixture of determination and desperation captured in those final moments of the battle, forever preserved by the Light's power.
