Order of the Light
Structure
The military wing of the Order is led by the Paladin-General while the Temple's social and political business is managed by the High Priest or Priestess, who supersedes the Paladin-General in overall authority.
Public Agenda
While originally a simple church that facilitated organised worship of Alreon among the Elves, the military wing of the Order was brought into being when Zivenor's demon forces made themselves an active threat. The Paladins of the Order are specifically trained to combat such threats by wielding divine magic in unison with their knightly training.
Cosmological Views
Alreon's creation of the Elves was the third such generation of life in the universe. They are the youngest of the Elder Races and tasked with the most active role: to protect the life that Alreon creates after them from influences that might rob them of the ability to choose their own path.
