Brynholm
Brynholm is a quiet, almost somber village. It has a deep folkloric, pastoral vibe—old stone walls, thatched roofs, and a sense that the world is watching back. Unlike the rest of Brassfounder's, the automata seem to avoid this place. Dismantled remains of the machines that were unfortunate enough to wander too close decorate the town borders like bizarre warding charms.
Demographics
Brynholm appears to primarily be home to Humans and Gnomes, though some Halflings and Dwarves have also been noted.
Wealth-wise, the town appears to consist entirely of farmers and other trades-folk with little disparity in wealth or positions of power.
Defences
The perimeter of the town is surrounded by a "fence" of broken Automata parts.
Infrastructure
Well tended dirt roads stretch between pastoral homes with thatched roofs and river rock walls. There's a windmill nearer to one end of town, furthest from the Great Tree.
Points of interest
The Great Tree
A large, deciduous tree positioned up on the town's highest hill. The tree is decorated with all manner of trinkets hung from its branches by ribbon, thread, and wire. It is said that a gift to the tree serves as a prayer or a wish for the future and offers protection to the people.
Reynard's Reach
This little Inn and Bar serves as a meeting point for the villagers out in the center of town. It doesn't see much outside foot traffic, but it's quite welcoming regardless. Many of the drink options offered are made in-house, too!d
