Ignis Institute
The headquarters for the Guild of the Eternal flame, located in the River District.
"Within these hallowed walls, aspiring mages and skilled warriors come together, their paths converging to shape a new generation of guardians for Neverwinter. Echoes of incantations and the clash of blades fill the air, as the gifted minds and agile bodies train under the watchful eye of seasoned mentors. The Ignis Institute stands as a beacon of knowledge, where passion and discipline meld to forge formidable heroes." - Aurelia Moonshadow, Whispers of Enchantment
Ignis Institute Layout:
The Spirecrest Chronology lab is more of a study space than a laboratory. People often take this course along with divination, and measure the flow of time by the movement of the stars.
The Caerwolf lecture theatre and Aumar lecture theatre are named for famous mages, and a wide number of courses are taught there. Guest lecturers also make use of these spaces.
The Caradoc library is the central library and meeting room of the whole guild, and has a vast collection of tomes.
The magic proving ground has all the space needed to test large spells. A huge abjured pit of stone is placed to contain any large spells, and there's also a firing range for ranged attacks.
In the eastern wing, there's a large sparring hall for martial training, a small infirmary to heal minor wounds, and also a workshop and armoury where students can learn to craft and car for their weapons.
Behind the main building is a small barracks, where students from other cities can be housed during their studies.
