The Burning of Ssaegí'a

During the last stand of Men against the Gôr Empire, the Tőyōtkan Empire, mightiest of all kingdoms, fell in a blaze of glory. Thinzení defended the city all by himself against a huge horde of Orks for hourse. He killed thousands and even slew a beholder, the highest form of being amongst the Gôr Empire's citizens. When he finally fell, the orks ravaged the city, killing all who had not fled before. The great buildings and works of art were burned and razed. Towers which told the history of Men destroyed, idols were desecrated, tombs were raided. The centre of the city there stood the great castle of King Míreklmőt. The Orks gathered round it and burned it down. The fire was so bright that the men fleeing could see the flame of the castle on the hill for miles. All hopes for the future were destroyed in that moment as they left for The Kingdom of Ōkalía.
