Ashnag

He was born to a humble family in the south of Qirkodh during the rise of the city in Orkish history. He was the son of a farmer, who taught him many important Orkish values, like honour and respect. He lived for many years a great child, he understood the plains way of life, learning to sing and dance at the age of six, and by the age of ten he slew a Gnoll. He grew a great reputation as a hunter because by the age of 15 he killed many Gnolls, Blink dogs, and even a Goristro, granted with help. This however was not what young Guîon wanted, for he yearned to be a farmer like his father. This all culminated when he vowed to never hunt another creature at the age of 16. After his father died at age 120, Guîon was 29. This death was hard for him, but he wanted to keep his fathers memory going.   He married young, by ork standards, at 31, and had a child at age 33, this was when suddenly he found a weird black spore on his farm. The spore would be the first spore of The Rot. He cultivated it for two years until his wife had told him to stop, because to her it was nothing more than a weed, it produced nothing of use and looked terrible. Guîon was ashamed to have his own wife say such things, but he ignored her. Until one day he was tending to his farm and The Rot filled his mind. It told him there was only one things standing between him and greatness, his family. That evening, at dinner, his wife brought up her concerns, and he stabbed her between the eyes. His son fled, but he hunted him down before he could tell anybody, and killed him too.   The Rot began to become powerful enough to corrupt the minds of the whole village, and finally it gave Guîon the title "Ashnag" to be his new name, and told the village that it held greater authority than even that of the Tőyōtkan Empire's "Emperor."

He started out as a hunter and defender of the village. He was a hard worker, making sure his village is safe, until he gave up on hunting, and vowed never to do hurt another being. Thus he became of farmer, just like his father before him, and for many years he worked tirelessly to make food for the people of his community. He was well loved by them, and stayed working as a farmer until he found the spore of The Rot. It made him the general of its army, and he went on a killing spree of any Ork which did not conform to what The Rot wanted. Then, he went conquering to other Orkish lands, founding the Gôr Empire, becoming its King, then Emperor.

In his early life, at the adolescent age of ten years, he slew a Gnoll that was terrorizing his village, and this gave him a great reputation as a fantastic hunter. He then killed a Blink Dog that was trying to hunt him. The village hunters went on a hunt for the rest of the Blink Dog's pack, and even though he was still a youth, he led the party and delivered many of the finishing blows. He consistently won many battles, but he began to get disturbed by the bloodshed, so became a farmer, and he became one of the greatest farmers that the Orkish world had known, being able to bring his small village a great profit from trade.

He had never had a failure in his whole life until after he had conquered the great Tőyōtkan Empire. After the Orks had begun their march on the Elven Lands, they reached the Albas Hills they came into contact with the humans who fled there. However, these humans did not wish to flee anymore, so they stayed and they fought, defeating the Orks at the battle of Malyо̄r Hill. This failure affected Ashnag deeply, for before now he had never known failure. This grew in him a rage, but this rage was never able to subside as soon after he lost at the battle of the Celdes River. This loss was much greater, and a great embarrassment for the Gôr Empire, as they lost almost every soldier, and was a reminder of the fierceness of the Eastern peoples. As well, it mirrored the events that happened at the Celdes many generations prior, of which everybody had remembered in some way.

After the losses at Malyо̄r Hill and the Celdes River, he began to become paranoid around battles. He began to be more careful in preparation for a battle, something which came at a cost, for he would over extend his soldiers, give them so much resources that he pulled away from villages and cities that needed it. It costed him greatly in the long term, as now the cities of the Southern Orks, Eastern Orks, Western Humans, Western Elves, Eastern Elves, and many other cities which he stole from, were unable to feed their people, having given all their food to the military.
