Tiberius Thorne

Tiberius Thorne was born as the son of a blacksmith and a large family with 12 siblings. His family was well off earning a middleclass salary and being part of the first class citizenry. Drawn to adventure from an early age he enlisted with the Imperial Army and traveled all across the fledgling Empire.   Only a simple recruit and he quickly moved up through the ranks recognized for his natural ability to lead and strategize. After a few years of serving as a Sergeant, he made it into the Officer program and quickly became a Lieutenant of a military unit. They deployed to the fringes of the Empire where war was brewing with the petty kingdoms to the South.   He served in the Unification War, fought against the other human kingdoms of Elastar and the Wood Elves of the southern forests of Halcyon. He witnessed many horrors and injustices that were visited upon these people that made him resent the army and the expansionist hunger of the Empire itself.   When he went with the guard forces to the Green Island to protect the lumber and mining crews pillaging the lands Wood Elves. He was witness to the destruction and burning of one of the coastal towns. He had enough and ripped off his insignia and walked away. During his desertion, he fled to the city of Wirvaan where he laid low for a few years as a factory foreman using the skills he picked up as an officer of the army.   Eventually he made his way back to the city of Mori to work as a mercenary until one day he heard a speech from a lone young woman filled with passion and fury about all the wrongs he witnessed in his long years. Hearing her speak about the injustices she suffered at the hands of a greedy Noble and corrupt government officials, he decided to help her.   They broke into a high-ranking magistrate's office and went through their ledgers and account books. They found evidence of the magistrate's corruption and confronted him in his office. He admitted to taking bribes and embezzling funds, while ignoring the suffering of the people and pocketing the money needed to fix the many problems of the city.   He watched stoically as Lysandra in a fit of rage pulled a pistol and shot the corrupt magistrate. He knew he must keep her from sliding too far into her anger and thirst for vengeance. Deciding then and there he must act as her right-hand man and confidant. For they must break the wheel to fix the wagon.   They then decided to set up the Red Fist organisation to effect lasting change in the system.
