Strokholin Hazadul, a Dwarven metal and weaponsmith, has traveled to Neoma to acquire rare metals from the nearby Tirdhal Zone, a planar rift connecting to the Elemental Planes of Metal. Strokholin is the youngest brother of Kirinza Hazadul of the Argentate Griffin, who forges the silver swords used by the Argent Order in their crusade against the forces of darkness. Most of the rare metals or alloys Strokholin purchases from adventurers and well-paid hunters are sent home to his brother, though some are used in his own smithy.

Although the good-natured Strokholin is an excellent smith, at least by human standards, he does not take his craft as seriously as his brother Kirinza would prefer. This has caused some tension, resulting in Strokholin being "exiled" to the distant kingdom of Emelrene.

He is popular with the local nobility, as he makes excellent-quality weapons and suits of armor.
