High Elf
Keen of mind and followers of the scholarly ways, the high elves are an orderly people who use their longevity to pursue their interests to the point of mastery; they love to spend years delving into subjects which interest them. To other races, high elves can appear haughty when expressing knowledge on a subject they have studied however their tone is often mistaken for arrogance when, in fact, high elves are simply didactic by nature and take every opportunity to educate with passion. While high elves are lauded for their skills in a scholarly capacity, their martial and magical prowess is equally impressive. High elves are trained in basic swordsmanship and all boast at least a minor connection to magic which allows them to cast the most basic of spells. Those who continue their training go on to master swordsmanship and become highly sought after tutors, causing an influx of wannabe swordmasters to visit Twinleaf Mott on The Brightgreen Isle in order to seek out a tutor. High elves who delve deeper into their magical roots, quickly discover an affinity for wizardry within themselves; a studious nature and a hint of innate magical potential combine to form a practitioner of magic with a wide range of capabilities. The high elves of Central Midasfjall can be found on The Brightgreen Isle within the city of Twinleaf Mott.

race features:
- Darkvision: Accustomed to twilit forests and the night sky, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
- Fey Ancestry: You have advantage on saving throws against being charmed, and magic can't put you to sleep.
- Trance: Elves do not sleep. Instead they meditate deeply, remaining semi-conscious, for 4 hours a day. The Common word for this meditation is "trance." While meditating, you dream after a fashion; such dreams are actually mental exercises that have become reflexive after years of practice. After resting in this way, you gain the same benefit a human would from 8 hours of sleep.

- Elf Weapon Training: You have proficiency with the longsword, shortsword, shortbow, and longbow.
- Extra Language: You can read, speak, and write one additional language of your choice.
High Elves stand a couple of inches taller than the other elven subraces and favour long flowing hair styles to accentuate their willowy frames. Their skin is usually a light shade ranging from alabaster to a very light tan, they have hair of copper, black or golden blonde hues, and their eye colours are bright blues, greens, violets and sometimes even red.
