Peoples of Markait
in Character OptionsMarkait is populated by peoples who faced extinction elsewhere in Creation. It is not clear whether this is ALL Creation or just SOME of Creation, but records of these people that have survived the transplant have a very different starscape than the ones currently laid out in Markait's night sky. This means that nearly any race from anywhere might be found amongst these stars as the selection processes seem to err on the side of caution and pull out people who might have proven safe in the end if left where they were, this has been proven by several races that have gotten two waves of settlers, the first from one potential extinction-level event, the second from a totally different extinction-level event.
The following listed creatures include some but nowhere near all of the creatures that a player might choose to play in the Markait setting.
Bakre: Are humanoid rocks that are made of that living stone known as coral. They are amphibious and form special bonds with smaller organisms in a symbiotic relationship.
Ishru: Are an avian humanoid species that generally possess martial culture and natural attacks.
Loyu: These are a strange and short people who seem 'designed' to be helpful to a civilization they don't themselves build.
Nadra: Nadray are a cousin species to humans and other species decended from the Adam. They are phsyically strong and rather stoic.
Uvake: Look very much like humans but with a simian's tail and with a bit more hair.
