Culestes is a nation-state which occupies the floating Culestan Floating Island. It is a geopolitical rival of the Vranic Empire
The preeminent Floatborn nation aims to be a source of kindness, safety, and good for the people both on their high perch and on the lands below. Their ruling party known as The Sky Council operates from the city of Cirro, making decisions that they hope will lead the world to a state of improvement.
Culestes used to send emissaries down to the mainland constantly with supplies and food for any that needed it. However, in the last week decades Vranik has openly declared war against Culestes and began to send forces against them. This has led to the Floatborn power closing off their borders to most individuals and only sending down weapon towers to guard their lands from the encroaching Vranic Empire.
