The Dominion of Free Peoples
The southern region of Kurra is among the last truly free areas of the world. The arid deserts are referred to as The Dominion of Free Peoples. Here, people live a hard life amidst the dry heat. Despite it's difficulty, these people claim that they are truly free. Free of the grasp of Vranik's ever growing rule and free of Culestes and it's overbearing need to improve the lives of everyone.
The would be rulers of this land are a rough coalition of people known as The Sifters. This group leads expeditions into pre-calamity ruins and seeks treasures in the sand that they share with the denizens of the Dominion. They operate from their main base that has grown into a respectable city called Ecoba.
Landbased travel into the Dominion is closely monitored by Culestes on the eastern side and blocked by Vranik on the western side.
