Super TL;DR
The Party began by investigating strange occurrences in the northern town of Farglen. Everyone they came across was spaced out and acted very weirdly. Percy quickly put together that something likely contaminated the town’s water supply. They found the body of a long-dead Dryad woman at the bottom of the town’s main well.   Abeni used Speak with Dead to figure out that the poor woman was Phillandra Arcacia Vranic (Walt’s sister.) Someone murdered her as she gathered information about statues on the edge of the town. She left a jornal which was not with her body and indicated that Miller (the local crime boss) would know where it was. So Team 2 plus Walt went to inquire with Miller while Team 1 with Vikary went to investigate the statues.   When they found the statues, they noticed some very odd properties to them. Mular was able to communicate with one of them who said his name was Zen and that he had been petrified for several weeks. They also found a statue that looked exactly like Walt. Molar wanted to free Zen from their confinement so Percy went to get Walt to come there.   Percy eventually found Team 2 at Miller’s tower but she was prevented from going inside. So she created a ruse that she was a new prostitute and snuck inside. She met two of the women unknowingly who helped further reinforce her disguise. Eventually she came into the meeting to ‘entertain’ which shocked the hell out of Walt. After a brief lapdance she told Walt that Team 1 needed him then created a distraction which cut the meeting short and allowed her to escape.   Shortly later Percy, Walt and Team 2 reunited with Team 1. Ginger was able to free Zen from his petrification through a possible Divine Intervention or other high-level ability. Zen profusely thanked his rescuers and told them about the mission from the Resistance which sent him to Farglen and got him petrified in the first place. During all of this Walt got an urgent message from Warden Marguyle. Almost immediately afterword, portals appeared and sucked every member of Team 1 and 2 back to the Fringe.   They returned to a large room where the Prison Summit commenced as soon as they arrived. Marg introduced the representative of the Emperor and his staff before launching into the reason for the meeting. He believed that Celeste and Heyman broke into the Undercroft, stole some powerful items and caused the entirety of Block D to disappear. He announced that there would soon be a new Block D jailor, that Abeni and Lottie were to move to Block A to prepare for their eventual release, that Walt was to move to Block F while Tema would move to Block E. Lastly, he announced that Borith Zela would be the new executioner of the Fringe which is where the session ended for the night.

TL;DR
The session began immediately where the previous one ended: with Team 1, Team 2, Walt and Vikary investigating a strange situation in the town of Farglen in the northern part of the Empire. They met a Firbolg woman who seemed very spaced out and unaware of what was going on. They also noticed that the town was in disrepair but not damaged by war or violence.   Soon after the two teams entered the town, they noticed a central well. Persephone sent Clip down to the bottom where she found a dead woman’s corpse. Lottie went down the well and helped raise it to the top so that Walt could make sense of it. The corpse turned out to be a young adult Dryad woman who was in an advanced state of decomposition. It was quickly apparent that the Dryad blood tainted the town’s water supply and caused hallucinogenic effects for anyone who consumed it.   As her friends investigated the woman’s corpse, Molar used Speak with Animals to first talk with a dog whom they had previously passed then a cat named Jenny (whom stayed with them for most of the mission.) Jenny, who was in a state of malnutrition, said that her owners stopped feeding her several weeks ago after they drank some foul-smelling water. Jenny said that she sensed this water was the cause of the problems but couldn’t tell anyone before Molar. So Molar and Jenny went back to the well to tell the others about their new information.   Meanwhile, Abeni cast Speak with Dead as a ritual which allowed them to get a significant amount of information from the spirit of the dead woman. It turned out that her name was Phillandra Arcacia Vranic (Walt’s Older Sister but not Older Sister.) The Council sent Phillandra on an official inquiry to gain information about some statues located on the edge of town. Last thing that she remembered, she was near a lumber mill on the edge of town when everything ended for her. She mentioned that she wrote all of her findings down in her journal but the group did not see it around her or at the bottom of the well. Phillandra pointed the group in the direction of a local crime boss named Miller who would likely know more details about her death. After the five questions, Phillandra’s spirit left then Abeni harvested her seed core to later be planted beneath some trees (which were Phillandra’s last wishes.)   Team 1 (under Vikary’s supervision) decided to investigate the lumber mill and the statues while Team 2 and Walt decided to inquire about Miller. After some walking Team 1 found the statues with no problem. All of the statues appeared very lifelike and as if they ranged in age from centuries old to very recent. Molar reached out and telepathically connected with one of the statues. He said that his name was Zen, a former Revolutionary that became petrified during a raid. Lottie also found a statue that looked exactly like Walt which had been there for many years and immediately believed it was him. So partly to help Zen and partly to calm down Lottie, Percy split off from the group to bring Walt back.   On her way Percy happened across a young man holding a knife. It quickly seemed that he was violent and had just killed as the knife was covered in a blood-like liquid. Percy diffused the situation and got the man to put down the knife before explaining himself. Upon further investigation it turned out that his story about getting a knife to open an Owlbear piñata filled with raspberry jelly was in fact true and that the man had not killed anyone at all (although it seemed very much possible before her investigation.)   Percy continued on and finally came to Miller’s compound on the other side of town. All of Team 2 except for Trink waited outside and told Percy that Miller would only allow Walt and one other person in the tower at any one time. Percy asked the guards at the front of the tower politely to let her in but they outright refused.   So Percy got creative and infiltrated the tower using her magic. She fooled an elderly Elven chef that she was sent by ‘the Agency’ as the new girl. She went upstairs to get dressed where she met ‘Nellie’ and ‘Christina’, two sex-workers that were at the tower for the past week. She convinced them that she was an exotic escort sent by the Agency from the Fringe per Mr. Miller’s requests. They got Percy ready and brought her into the meeting between Miller and Walt (much to Walt’s shock and horror.)   So Percy waas present, albeit disguised as a prostitute, for part of Walt’s meeting with Miller. Percy gave Walt a bit of a lapdance which allowed her to pass along that Team 1 needed him to come at once. She was also present as Miller refused to provide food and water to the town without first receiving compensation from the Empire. Walt said that he would see what he could do. Percy then created a distraction which allowed her to escape and also ended the meeting which allowed Walt to return to his team.   Shortly later Walt, Percy and Team 2 reunited with Team 1. Lottie showed Walt the statue which looked like his exact image but Walt didn’t make much of it. Meanwhile, Ginger was able to remove the petrification of Zen through magical means. Zen profusely thanked them and told them a little about his story.   As he spoke Walt received a message that everyone was immediately ordered to return to the Fringe. Percy tried to run for it but portals opened and sucked all of the residents of the Fringe backt there.   They found themselves in a large meeting room which turned out to be the Prison Summit, moved forward due to pressing circumstances. Warden Marguyle introduced the Emperor’s representative and his staff before starting the meeting in earnest. He said that Celeste and Heyman stole a powerful artifact and fled the Fringe. He also said that Block D, the entire physical block along with its residents, was missing but the Fringe was growing a replacement. Marg continued by announcing that Lottie and Abeni would move to Block A and would eventually be released with good behavior. He also announced that there would be major staff changes: a new warden of Block D would be hired, Walt was forced to move to Block F while Tema would move to Block E. Lastly, he introduced the new executioner of the Fringe: Borith Zela. That is where the session ended for the night.

Detailed Notes

Ext. Near Farglen, The Northern Vranic Empire, The Great Continent, Prime Material, Kurra - Continuous from Last Session (Mid-Morning)
The session began with Rattigan screaming “False Hydra!” while the rest of Team 1, Team 2 (Lan, Lannary and Trink), Walt, Vikary and their newly met Firbolg woman from the town. Walt asked the Firbolg woman if she could take them to the mayor of the town. After thinking about it for a minute, the Firbolg woman said sure and began to led them into the town proper.   As they walked Persephone and Abeni observed the Firbolg woman. There was something definitely wrong with her but they did not know exactly what. Abeni sensed that the woman was covered in magical effects and Rattigan sense that there was nothing evil or cursed with the woman. It seemed that there was just something that she ate or drank which effected her behavior.
Ext. Outskirts, Farglen, The Northern Vranic Empire - Continuous
As they neared the town, the members of both teams ad their overseers passed a few farmsteads. The farms seemed to have workers in the fields but they were acting unusually. One of the workers seemed to be using a scythe to cut nothing.   They came up to a dog standing next to a boy. He threw the ball and the dog retrieved it as normal and dropped it at his feet. It took the boy almost half a minute to realize that the dog dropped the ball at his feet and he looked surprised. Abeni tried to see if there was some sort of Chronomancy magic. but after reaching out they were fairly convinced this was not the case.
Ext. Farglen Proper, Farglen - Continuous
As the teams walked through the town proper they noticed what seemed to be its normal residents going about their day. From a closer look, Molar was the first to notice that almost all of the people in the town were wobbly like the Firbolg woman.   Molar tried a minor experiment on the Firbolg woman. She cast Suggestion on the women without her knowing and suggested that she dance. The Firbolg woman stopped and said that she felt like dancing and did just that. Seeing the woman, several children joined along in dancing wildly with her. Abeni had no idea that it was Suggestion and made a medicine check to see if it was Dancing Plague. (which it was not.) The woman continued to dance and walk beside the group as they walked through the town.   Persephone noticed a well near the center of town. She went over with Clip to investigate it. There was a rope leading to a bucket at the bottom of the well. Percy sent Clip down the well to see if there was anything down there. After five tense minutes Clip flitted back up and said that there was a dead girl down there. She called the rest of the group over to tell them what Clip saw down there.   Lottie volunteered to go down the well, take some samples and help bring the body back up. She easily descended into the well. At the bottom she found that what seemed like a single hole opened up into a vast underground cavern system. Lottie easily found a the badly decayed corpse just to the side of the well shaft. She wrapped the body with a few webs, attached it to the rope used to raise the bucket and took a few vials of the surrounding water before she signaled to her friends to begin pulling the body up. Walt and Lottie struggled to raise the body but Vicary stepped in and used his Demonic strength to rapidly pull the corpse to the top. Even before the body appeared, both teams experienced the unmistakable stench of the badly decayed body.   The poor woman’s body flopped over the side of the well and onto the ground. Due to the advanced state of the decomposition much of her form splayed out from the impact and scattered some of her remains aside from her body.   Upon seeing the horribly bloated and decomposed body, Rattigan had an immediate flashback to his past. He began to scream and backed away from the corpse. Abeni comforted him with their soothing presence and some words to reassure Rattigan that he was safe.   Once Rattigan was somewhat back to his normal, erratic state, Abeni and Walt began to inspect the body. Abeni took samples of the creature’s blood and remaining tissues as they could have interesting properties. Abeni then prepared the body for a restful repose and began to ritualistically cast Speak with the Dead to ascertain the poor soul’s identity and help determine cause of death.   While all of this was going on, Molar saw the boy playing with his do that she saw before. Molar decided to approach them and use Speak With Animals to communicate directly with the dog. The dog said to Molar that it noticed his master was acting strange, that he had been fed too many times today. The dog didn’t really know why it was happening but he mentioned that a cat named Jenny who lived down the street was smart and might know something.
Ext. Jenny’s House, Down the Road, Farglen - Continuous
Molar came to the house indicated as Jenny’s by the dog. She found a sickly-looking and very emaciated cat lying on the front stoop of a house. Molar offered it some meat from her rations and some fresh water. It weakly got up eagerly partook in the rations. Jenny said that her owners forgot to feed her since they began drinking the ‘smelly water.’ Jenny said she refused to drink it but her friends that did began to see colors and act crazy.   It seemed pretty clear to Molar that it was something that tainted the water and the people were experiencing hallucinations as a result of it. Molar let Jenny finish eating her ration then went back to tell her friends that she figured out what affected the town.
Ext. Farglen Proper, Farglen - Continuous
As Molar, Jenny and Vikary returned, Abeni finished preparing the body, positioning it in in a restful repose, creating a circle of candles and offered its spirit a drink of strong rum if it would come back for a chat. The spirit obliged and the whole group saw the blue outline of the Dryad’s spirit temporarily return.   Abeni started off by asking the poor girl’s name which she said was Phillandra Arcacia Vranic. This chilled Walt to the bone as he instantly recognized the woman as one of his older sisters (but not Older Sister.). She was nice to Walt and he had no idea that she was dead. Abeni, sensing this shock, telepathically communicated with Walt that he should feel free to ask his sister anything that he felt he should ask but that they only had five questions before her spirit moved on and the artificial connection to her remains created by the ritual would be gone forever. Walt said that he understood and might ask a question before the end but he was still in shock.   Abeni’s second question was what did Phillandra do on her last day. She said that she was sent by the Council to investigate the statues. of Farglen. She wrote her findings down in her diary just as she had done all the other times before. She said “suddenly there was a flash then that was it.”   Delicately, Abeni mentioned that Phillandra’s body was found at the bottom of a well. She said that she didn’t remember being near a well when she died. Abeni knew that that was bad news for the town as Dryad blood is a potent hallucinogen with a high potential for addiction and abuse. It would cause the village to experience powerful psychedelic sensations, to act in distorted ways and with too much exposure could cause them to become violent. Most people who abused Dryad blood took very small drops on their tongues; Abeni had no idea what the effects would be from drinking large amounts day in and day out for weeks.   Abeni asked Phillandra if she knew who could have killed her. Phillandra thought for a moment and said that she had the protection of the Council when she was sent there. However, she noticed that just before her end, the guards she was with were not around her. She said that although she didn’t know who killed her, the local crime lord Miller would know as it was his business to know everything that happened in the town.   Before Abeni asked their final question; Walt and Phillandra caught up one last time. She asked how Beans was but instead of telling her the truth, Walt lied and said that all was good and that she was back in Throne waiting for him to return. They expressed how much they meant to each other and how Walt was sad to see her pass on. They said tearful goodbyes before Walt indicated that Abeni could ask their last question.   The last question Abeni asked was how Phillandra wanted to be laid to rest. She said that she wanted her seed core to be buried underneath some beautiful trees so that she might come back as one some day. Abeni and Walt promised her that they would do this. So, with a restful smile, Phillandra’s spirit passed on.   Abeni delicately searched Phillandra’s remains for her seed core, easily found it and extracted it. They carefully wrapped it in a bit of pink and purple cloth given to them by their mentor which Abeni kept on them at all times. They then carefully placed the seed in their pack to be interred at a spot of Walt’s choosing. As soon as the seed core was removed, Phillandra’s body disintegrated into ash and blew away on the cool northern breeze.   While this was going on Percy, Clip and Rattigan went back to the well. Percy sent Clip holding Yaki the 2nd to its bottom again to see if there was any sign of Phillandra’s journal down there. She didn’t find the journal but did find a scrap of paper that looked like it had been torn from a larger piece. It said “meed over by the logging camp outside of town at 8pm” and part of a paragraph that began with “you have to be careful.”   When the three shared this with the group, Team 1 admittedly wanted to investigate this lead. Walt thought that they should also follow up on the information that Miller could provide them. So he decided to take Team 2 with him to find Miller while Vikary would oversee Team 1 as they went to the scene of the murder and to check out the nearby statues.   The group asked the Firbolg woman, who was still dancing near the well, to show them the logging camp and the statues. She happily accepted and began to walk, while somehow still dancing, toward the edge of town.
Ext. The Statues, Near Farglen, The Northern Vranic Empire - Shortly Later
On their way out of town, Team 1 passed through what looked like a cemetery. However, in this cemetery the tombstones were all manner of petrified creatures in various states of weathering into the countryside. Some, covered in moss or tipped on their side, appeared to have been there for a very long time; others stood tall and relatively unbleached by sun and unaffected by moss which implied they were relatively new. There were around 27 statues which stood in rows which formed an eerie memorial to the creatures that they once were.   As they walked, Molar continued to communicate with Jenny who opted to come along with the group. Jenny said that she didn’t understand why the people worshiped the dumb heroes or spirits or whatever. She mentioned that they should all just worship the simple but effective Lady Bastet.. Molar asked Thomas (her gem frog) if he knew anything about this but he didn’t. He only knew of his maker, a scary man with dozens of arms., whom gave Thomas away as a gift.   The Firbolg woman showed Team 1 some of the statues which she knew the names or stories behind. The first was a rotund Human man still holding a bread roll that she called ‘Rollie.’ She also showed them one of the ones that were tipped over on its face and was now lying partially buried in the ground.   As they got the tour around the cemetery, Molar tired to reach out with their telepathic abilities and talk with any of the statues. It definitely did not work on the older ones. However, when she came to one of the newer ones she was able to speak with it. They were a member of the Resistance sent to Farglen on a mission to destabilize the food supply and therefore the overall nature of the Empire. He said that ten were dispatched to Farglen and things went well until they suddenly did not. A woman with a sword petrified the poor man. He was unable to sleep, talk or dream and he was very worried about his compatriots. He begged Molar to help him reverse the petrification. Molar returned to her friends and relayed all that she heard.   This reminded Abeni of something which they experienced several weeks earlier. Abeni relayed their experience with the eyes of the Gorgon. They recalled that when they touched the Gorgon blood (several session ago when they tried to poison it), they had a brief conversation with a pair of piercing eyes in the night. Abeni wondered aloud if this could have been related to the woman. None in the group heard of such a thing but Abeni asked them to relay any such occurence.   Persephone thought that Walt might have or know of a solution to the petrified people. She split of from the group to find him (along with Team 2) and bring him to the statues so that he could do something.   Lottie was bored by all of this and went off to look at the statue which had fallen down and was now face-down in the dirt. She brushed away some of the dirt which revealed the face of the statue. The way that its hair was styled, the exact shape of its face, the shape of their eyes; Lottie instantly recognized that this was Walt. She began to panic as she thought that Walt was dead.   The rest of Team 1 hear Lottie bawling and quickly came over to see what was going on. Only Abeni, with a high perception roll, thought the statue looked exactly like Walt while the others thought it resembled him but weren’t convinced.
Ext. Farglen Proper, Northern Vranic Empire - Continuously
Percy made her way back to town to find Walt. As she walked down the main street, a half-Elven man in his later teens holding a knife emerged from a side alley. The Half-Elf called her “Ms. Smithousen” and it was quickly apparent to Percy that he was under the effects of the Dryad blood.   The man approached Percy in what seemed like a menacing manner. Percy cast Thomaturgy and commanded him to sit down in a bellowing voice. The Half-Elf did as he was told.   He continued to babble about Ms. Smithousen and something about candy. Percy thought that he thought she was Ms. Smithousen; the man said he didn’t think so because Ms. Smithousen was dead. It was at that moment that Percy noticed that the blade the man held appeared to be covered in blood. When Percy asked about the knife, he said that he was going to use it to ‘open up the piñata.’ Percy asked where the piñata was; while he motioned over to a nearby house she grabbed the knife from his hand. Although he resisted he eventually shrugged and let her have the weapon.   Percy asked the Half-Elf to take her to the house, which he willingly did. Percy found a birthday party with kids and adults standing around an Owlbear piñata. Out of the piñata oozed a sweet raspberry syrup which looked awfully like blood. Percy looked at the dagger, realized it was the same liquid and tasted it. To her thankful surprise it was in fact raspberry syrup and not blood as she had first imagined it to be. The Half-Elf wandered back to the party, forgetting his knife which Percy wisely stashed in a shrub near the house. Percy then continued on in the direction which Walt said that he would be.
Ext. Miller’s Tower, Outskirts of Farglen - Shortly Later
Percy continued on until she happened upon Ginger standing outside of a building smoking a hand-rolled cigarette on the edge of town. They caught each other up on the information that their respective teams learned about the situation. Ginger said that she could possibly undo the petrification with some of her magical abilities. She said it was odd because creatures affected by a Basilisk or Gorgon went into a coma and were unconscious when they were petrified; it was highly unusual that the creature Molar spoke with was conscious and aware of his petrification.   After this revelation Ginger directed Percy in the direction that she could find Walt. Ginger said that Walt was talking with Miller in his headquarters surrounded by Miller’s guards. She also said that Miller only allowed Walt and one other person in the building for ‘security reasons.’ Percy noticed that the Twins were also sitting outside of the building, waiting around for something to happen.   Percy said that she was going to find a way to get in there. The present members of Team 2 said that was probably a bad idea but made no move to stop her.   Percy walked up to the main door to the building which was guarded by a large Half-Orc woman in a tight suit and a fit human man. The Half-Orc woman stopped Percy and demanded that she wait outside. They said that she could go in only after the other one who was with Walt (Trink) came out first. The Half-Orc also called Percy a “random bimbo[...] piece of trash” and would not let her inside for any reason. Percy was able to see through a slit in the curtains to the inside of the building. This gave her a chance to use Misty Step to teleport inside. So Percy feigned like she was walking away but as soon as she was out of sight of the guards, she teleported into one of the interior rooms of the building.
Int. The Kitchen, Miller’s Tower, Outskirts of Farglen - Continuous
Percy found herself standing on a large counter in what appeared to be the building’s kitchen. An elderly Elven woman asked if Percy was “one of the new girls sent from the Agency”. to which Percy said she was in the hopes that it would get her into the inner sanctum of the building. The Elven cook told Percy to head up the service stairs to the living quarters to get ready; Percy played along like she had done this once before but was still new to what she assumed was being a prostitute.   No one looked twice at Percy as she left the kitchen and headed up the steep, narrow stairway to the upper levels of the building.
Int. The Living Quarters, Miller’s Tower - Continuous
Percy easily found the ‘living quarters.’ There were several vanities with all assortments of used makeup, scant clothing and other tools of the trade waited to be used by the women. On the side of the room furthest from the door, there seemed to be a bath with two of the women freshening up with their backs toward the door.   Percy quickly changed into some of the frilly and flimsily constructed lengere. As Percy put her hair into a bun, one of the two women from the bath got up, turned and noticed that there was a new person in the room. The woman, a Fetchling with gray skin who appeared to be in her 20s, did not seem startled that she now stood fully nude in front of Percy.   The Fetchling introduced herself as ‘Nellie’ and her co-worker as ‘Christina‘ but indicated these were obviously not their real names. Percy lied and said that her name was ‘Camilla.’   Nellie said that she had never seen Camilla back at the agency before and asked if this was her first time with this sort of thing. Percy lied and said that she had done this once before but she was not with ‘the Agency’ (which Nellie mentioned) but on loan from the Fringe. Nellie was taken aback by this as she had never heard something so cruel before. More importantly, Nellie and Christina believed Percy’s story and accepted her as one of their own.   Nellie, still fully nude, helped Percy get into a better fitting and better put-together outfit that she thought would make a good first impression on Miller. She also got Percy a large ribbon and tied it into a bow around her neck to hide her prison-issued collar that was still firmly affixed around Percy’s neck. Although Nellie could see Percy’s scars on her back, from where her wings were removed, she didn’t comment about them..   As she helped Percy, Nellie mentioned that Mr. Miller was a good man for the business that he was in; he was fair and never did anything to the women in his employ whereas many others in his position did the opposite. She mentioned that Mr. Miller also liked to talk and get to know the women in his employ instead of jumping right to the business of it all.   Once ‘Camilla’ was ready, Nellie pointed her in the direction of Mr. Miller’s drawing room and told her to go inside. Although he didn’t explicitly say, Nellie knew that he would want to show off his exotic women to his important guest (Walt) as a symbol of his status and prestige. Nellie assured her that her and Christina would be waiting for her once things were done. So Percy made her way quickly and quietly down the upstairs hallway to Mr. Miller’s drawing room, opened the door and went inside.
Int. Mr. Miller’s Drawing Room, Miller’s Tower - Continuous
Percy entered a dimly lit room with several comfortable chairs arranged around a coffee table. Facing her she saw a Gnomish man with an imposing Tabaxi man standing behind him. Walt sat in a chair perpendicular to him but with his back toward the door looking at the Gnome, whom she quickly assumed was Mr. Miller, as he spoke. Trink was also in the room sitting in a chair near Walt.   Mr. Miller bragged that this was probably one of his exotic girls come to service him and that if Walt was more like him, he too could have the nicer things in life. As Percy entered the room proper, a wave of shock and horror went over Walt’s face. Trink audibly laughed and could not control how hilarious he thought Percy in the prostitute’s git-up was to them.   Mr. Miller called Percy over and had her sit on his lap. Percy quickly assumed the role of entertainer, left Miller’s lap and began to give Walt a lapdance. Percy asked if she could take Walt ‘back’ but Mr. Miller declined the suggestion as they still had to talk business about the town.   It took Walt several moments to regain even the slighest amount of composure; when he did he tried to play along like it was not the most disturbing thing he witnessed that day (including the death of his Older Sister.) Percy got close enough to him to whisper that Team 1 and her needed Walt’s help at the statues and that this was the only way that she could get in to see him. Walt nodded but couldn’t do much more without arousing suspicions. After a few more moments, Mr. Miller said that was enough of a taste and called Percy back to sit with him.   So Walt and Mr. Miller continued the conversation which Percy interrupted when she entered the room. Mr. Miller said that he was willing to help the town but had to be compensated for providing food and water. Walt balked at this and tried to get Miller to do it for the good of the Empire. Miller stubbornly refused and told Walt that he had to take these terms beck to “your daddy the Emperor” but there would be no sustenance until there was first coin. Walt said that he no longer had connections to any decision makers and that he could not authorize the purchases himself. Walt couldn’t even convince Miller that a drugged out and possibly violent population would be bad for business. Walt had to be content to settle on an agreement to take the issue to Marguyle so that he could release the funds and pay Miller for the goods. In the meantime, Miller and his people would be safe as they had their own food and water supply separate from the town’s but the town would have to wait and see what would happen. With this agreement, Miller slapped Percy’s ass and said that he had some other business to attend to.   Not wanting to be the plaything of Mr. Miller, Percy cast Thomaturgy outside of the building to produce the sound of an explosion. The Tabaxi very predictably draw his scimitar and hurried Mr. Miller out of the room (presumably to a secure location.) Percy screamed and ran out the door as if she was worried for her own life though it was all a ruse.
Int. The Living Quarters, Miller’s Tower - Continuous
Percy darted back into the living quarters. The two women said they heard the noise outside and asked what was going on. Percy lied, said that her jailor was in trouble and that she had to go downstairs. Before they could inquire further, Percy grabbed her original clothes in her arms and ran down the service stairs from whence she originally came.
Int. The Kitchen, Miller’s Tower - Continuous
On her way down the narrow service stairs, she cast Disguise Self to make her appear like a Human cook wearing chef’s whites. The elderly Elven chef demanded to know who Percy was (as she was now different than the first time they saw each other.) Percy rushed past her and jumped out of a nearby window.
Ext. Miller’s Tower, The Outskirts of Farglen - Continuous
Percy bounded out of the window and landed on the rough ground below. Miller’s guards were so distracted by the explosion sound that they either didn’t notice or didn’t care about the nondescript cook who jumped out of the window. As she was still under the effect of Disguise Self, the Twins and Ginger had no idea who Percy was and didn’t care to check on her. Percy took off running down the street away from the tower and in the direction of Team 1. As she did, she traded some of her illusory chef’s whites for some clothes which a kid sold beside the road. As she ran further along, the clothes she gave the boy transformed back into the non-illusory frilly langere that she took from Miller.
Ext. The Statues, Opposite Side of Town, Outskirts of Farglen - Shortly Later
The majority of Team 1 tried to calm Lottie down after her panic about Walt’s death. Although she was still on edge, Lottie had stopped crying by the time that Percy came down the road towards them. She lied and said that she was ‘Chester’ and wearing a strange mix of old clothes, frilly langere and chef’s whites. A few minutes later, Walt and Team 2 came down the road at a jog looking for them. He said that Persephone told him they needed him and he came as soon as he could. Percy, still in disguise, told her friends what had happened with Mr. Miller and especially about the lap dance.   After some slight teasing about getting a lap dance from Percy, Team 1 took him to the statue of his spitting image. After some struggles, the two teams managed to stand the statue up to get a better look at it. Now upright, it was clear that the statue was the exact same height and build as Walt. Seeing this, Ginger, Trink and some of the others were now convinced that it was a striking resemblance to Walt.   As they continued to look at the statue, Miller and some of his guard ran up to the gathering. He demanded to know where the woman who gave him the lap dance was and seemed to figure out by this point that she was not sent by the Agency. Lottie began bawling about the statue which annoyed Miller and made it so that he didn’t want to stay there any longer than he had to. Walt told the truth and said that he didn’t see the woman (as she was now Chester) but said that he would inform Miller if he did so again. Angrily, Miller and his guards stormed off leaving the teams alone once again.   The two teams and Walt returned their attention to the statue. It looked as if it had been there for at 70 or 80 years by this point, well weathered and with moss growing around its lower portions.   Molar again used Message to contact their petrified commrade. She said that they found someone who might be able to help them. The man said that his name was Zen and that his group was led by a Revolutionary named Byron.. The petrified man asked if Molar found any others from his troop but Molar did not.   Ginger said that she could help. As she approached she immediately recognized Zen as one of her father’s workers which further motivated her to help the poor, trapped man. She placed her hands on the statue and cast some from of Restoration or Remove Curse on it. Ginger’s eyes turned bright green, heir hair flung outward and magic coursed through her. As the magic traveled into Zen, the rest of the group noticed that the petrification worked its way up Ginger’s arms, slowly turning them to stone as Zen slowly returned to his normal state. It took several minutes before there was a loud pop which sent Ginger flying backwards. Green energy surged down her arms and completely dispelled the petrification effect which seemed to work its way up Ginger’s arms. After a few seconds, the stone encasing Zen crumbled away and revealed Zen’s normal flesh.   Molar gave Zen two of her healing potions to restore any lingering damage to his body. As Zen guzzled the potions, Rattigan took the opportunity to sniff him for diseases and curses which it did not appear remained on his body. He was quiet for a few moments as he slowly regained his senses and looked around at those who had saved him.   He immediately recognized Ginger. He noticed the collar around her neck and seemed genuinely concerned about why Ginger was in the Fringe. They caught up for a few moments, talking about Ginger’s life, her father and her family.   After a bit, Walt stepped aside to communicate all of the events of the morning to Marguyle and ask what they should do next. From Walt’s reactions, it seemed that Marg yelled at Walt for a bit. Visibly shaken, Walt returned to the group and said that the mission was over and they all had to immediately return to the Fringe.   Percy felt that there was much more to do in the town so she cast Create Bonfire in a nearby field to create a diversion. When everyone turned to see the crackling, burning wheat Percy darted off in the direction of the town. Walt yelled at her that it was useless.   In the same moment, Abeni cast Remove Curse on the statue that they believed to be Walt. Nothing happened but as it was the last of their third level spells, a magical effect from the Blue Voice issued from Abeni’s body.. The Party found itself suddenly enveloped by the effects of Fog Cloud and grasped by vines created by Entangle.   In a split second several teleportation portals opened around them and sucked all of the members of Team 1 and 2 inside (including Percy as she tried to escape and the statue of Walt which Lottie still clung to.)
Int. A Large Meeting Room, The Fringe - Continuous
Teams 1 and 2 along with Walt, Vikary and Walt’s statue appeared in a large room within the fringe. Teams 1 and 2 found themselves in a large cell like the dozens of others arranged around three of the four sides of the room. On the forth side, facing the members of Block E sat Marg, the other wardens and what appeared to be representatives of the Empire atop a dais.   Marg stepped down from the dais and took a position at the center of the room. He announced that there had been an incident in the prison which necessitated the advancement of the prison summit and their return from the field. He introduced a part-Tiefling, part-Elven man in fine clothes named Hadley who was the personal representative of the Emperor and his assistant, a Demon woman named Finalia.   Marg started off by announcing that Celste and Heyman broke into the Undercroft, removed some valuable items and fled from the prison. He also said that the entirety of Block D, including its inmates, was completely gone. Marg said that they were investigating the whole situation but the working assumption was that Celeste took the prisoners with her for unknown reasons.   Lottie began to weep once again. This prompted Marg to cast Sleep on her and as she failed her CON save, she immediately fell into a deep and dreamless slumber.   Walt demanded that his team be returned to the field immediately. Marguyle promised that he would let them finish their mission as soon as this session of the summit adjourned.   Marg said that the Fringe would grow a new Cell Block D. The news of a whole block ‘growing’ was a shock to most of the inmates of the prison as they had no idea this was even possible.   Ceasing on the pause in the business with Celeste, Dump brought up the motion he previously submitted to Marg. Marg said that he considered the request and granted all of its components to Dump. In one month’s time Lottie and Abeni would transfer to Block A to be under Dump’s supervision. Walt, Abeni, Lottie and the others protested but Marg said this decision was also final. He noted that with good behavior Lottie would be likely released in six months and Abeni in one year’s time.   The course of business returned to the Fringe. Marg said that he would hire two new major staff members but also restructure the existing staff assignments. At the end of the moon cycle (in about one month) Walt was to move to Block F and Tema was to move to Block E. Walt protested this but Marg said his decision was final.   Marg ended the meeting with the announcement of the new executioner of the Fringe: Borith Zela.. Abeni immediately tried to gain insight to see if this was their husband; his mannerisms, the part of his hair, the sound of his voice were exactly as they remembered and it seemed that it was 100% Abeni’s dead husband returned to life. On that final and shocking revelation, the session ended for the night.
