Gambit (a.k.a. The Gambit)
The Gambit, or Gambit for short, is first and foremost an esteemed member of the APO - Astral Post Office. His duty ever since becoming The Gambit is to deliver undeliverables to the undeliverable without drawing attention to himself or his recipient. As a courier, his package is the most precious cargo one can carry and should be treated as if its contents are invaluable. When not on duty his tenets dictate every action in his life, guiding him to his next destination where his service is most needed.
His platinum hair is a gift from The Gambit before him and represents the expense one has gone to protect the prestigious duty of The Gambit. The suit he wears is standard issue; nondescript and both era and regionally appropriate and is never removed, tarnished or marred. The Gambit's gauntlet represents his own sacrifice to his duty, replaced instead by the tool he needs to conclude his work for Beaumont which potentially could lead to a permanent position as a Vox Ultima for Ip & Okk. A strategic hand must be played at all times to entertain the brothers while specific rules are expected to be followed in an ever-changing game. The Gambit's deck is unique to him and its discovery is mandated by the Astral Officers who inspect it before, during and after each use.
Physical Description
Special abilities
The Gambit only acts in reactions when his deck is present with his eyes watching the entire situation at once. The gauntlet moves fluidly like he has complete control of every inch of it. His accuracy with the astral playing cards is unmatched, causing The Gambit to never miss his intended throw. Not once has his deck ever been seen used to promote himself or his own good and instead always acts to better those around him or to influence the bad decisions of those who seek to bring harm on him, his allies or innocents in his presence.

Personal history
The Gambit has completely forgone his previous life, name and memories to accept the role given to him. It is unknown if his promotion to The Gambit placed him in-line for the Vox Ultima or if this goal was part of his prior life and the promotion amplifies that goal.
Education
While no formal education has been provided to him, The Gambit's level of knowledge exceeds most college-graduates and even many of their professors. What's most astounding is his intimate knowledge of history throughout the whole world, often complete with details he himself could not possibly know but are understood as memories.

Gambit has been a courier of the Astral Post Office for 22 years.
Morality & Philosophy
The Gambit's morals align with most good or neutral-aligned mortals of Beaumont. Conflict is to be dealt with by a mature mind, escalation is never intended nor is it encouraged even in the most dire of situations. Imitation, misdirection and slight-of-hand are tools that should be utilized as often as possible as long as the intent aligns with both his tenets and his good-aligned morality.
Taboos
Cheating is taboo and has requirements for consequences which must be followed. Religion belongs to all however the voice of the gods belongs to the Vox Ultima. Anyone claiming to speak for a god who is not a Vox is automatically guilty of heresy and is to be turned over to the Vox without hesitancy or reluctance.
