Fungal Blight

The Fungal Blight is a region in the Southwestern reaches of the Tajj Netan empire. It is a large forest predominantly covered by large mushrooms, which are able to live in the harsh, arid environment between the lowlands of the Kyonyita Desert and the heights of the Gonnak Mountain Range. It is a very dangerous area, and as such there are few who live there; it is mostly reserved for druids and Cunningfolk who are able to live harmoniously within the toxic environment. It also houses part of the settlement of Ununanun, although great efforts have been taken to make the town safe for people. Poisonous plants and mushrooms litter the ground and venomous reptiles and birds inhabit all layers of the ecosystem. The Fungal Blight, while it is beautiful and often seen as one of the world's natural wonders, is seldom visited by anyone who doesn't absolutely need to go there. The Crown of Tajj Neta has expressed past interest in clearing the area and reforming it to be more suitable for human inhabitance.
