NMR A8 Class

The North Midland Railway class A8 was a class of Twenty-Nine 2-4-2T tank engines designed by Mathew Denman. They were ,all things considered, outwardly similar to the NMR 7B Class class but were fitted with belpaire fireboxes, dual brake equipment and larger sidetanks making them better suited to goods services and longer distance passenger trains.
