NER J Class 0-8-0
The North Etorean Railway J Class was a class of sixteen 0-8-0 Tender Locomotives constructed by the NER's Sandford Locomotive Works between 1902 and 1903 to a design by Walter Lovejoy.
The locomotives were constructed at Sandford Works, the design was an evolution of №76 & 77 which were originally built by Sharp, Stewart & Company for the Swedish and Norwegian Railway but could not be paid for. By 1910, all locomotives had been rebuilt with superheated boilers to improve power output.
